May Makeover: Backyard on a Budget!

I’ve had a lot of requests about how to create a sensational garden while still watching your cents.

Not to worry, Webkinz fans. You don’t have to be Fluffington St. Bernard to enjoy a stunning outdoor space.

I thought I’d show you a backyard I recently completed on a very tight budget to demonstrate how sometimes less really can be more. This backyard is an excellent example of how simplicity and symmetry can create a true wow factor.

Even though I only had $3000 to work with, I decided to use almost half my budget to make an eye-catching focal point by circling a colorful geranium bush with a rustic flagstone path. An attractive but inexpensive bench sits between two elegant urns at the end of the yard, and I used repetition to enhance the simplicity by placing two basic wood benches on either side of the yard. A reasonably priced tree and some inexpensive fencing was all I needed to complete my minimalist look.

The end result? A restful, calming space in which the impact comes from what’s NOT there. And so do the savings!

here is an awesome spring garden idea. here are the 4 steps:
step 1, place all the thing you want in your yard like a pool or a bench stuff like that.
step 2, go to decorations in the w shop then go to page 6 and by a bunch of flagstone path tile (your going to need a lot of them) and also by a bunch of your favorite flowers (your going to need a lot of those to)
step 3, make a path with the flagstone path tile to all the things you put in your room.
step 4 fill up all the empty spaces in your room with the flowers you chosed.
if you have any questions post back so i can answer.
PS this room idea is a lot of money so it may take you awhile to finish and if you like my idea friend me: lisiec8

I thought the picture was supposed to be the “before” picture for another Webkinz character’s room makeover. Wow. It looks way too empty. There’s practically nothing on it!

I got over 400 items in my dock. I have a whole room theme in it, I just need to find the money to by a full large room for it xD Most of it is furniture and objets…I don’t know what to do with them all.

I could totally design a room with only 3000 kinzcash because I have deluxe membership!

    • loue354 says:

WHAT DOES DECORATING HAVE TO DO WITH HAVING A DELUXE MEMBERSHIP…EVERYBODY CAN DECORATE WITH $3000.00 KINZ CASH WHETHER THEY ARE DELUXE OR NOT….

    • cinpep says:

I don’t get it…I was deluxe for a year and it expired a few months ago and I couldn’t make a room with 3000 kinzcash. I didn’t have enough. What’s weird is that I almost never spend large amounts of kinzcash. We have the same name too! I was Em at first but to avoid confusion I changed my name to my dogs’ names combined. They are Cinnamon and Pepper.

Don’t brag; it’s not polite and not everyone has the same opportunities!

    • Sadie says:

deluxe membership has nothing to do with it. wat if someone was a member and had, like, no sense of designing?

I kind of like that it is so simple, it feels like most things are way too crowded. I love that it’s open and relaxing! :)

It is simple, but it could definitely use some more stuff. Maybe more trees or even a pool or something. I could definitely do better on a budget, although I never am.
