Blast from the Past: La Souffle Redesign

Elwin: Today, you’re in for a treat – a blast from the past! When Chef Sophia first arrived in Kinzville, she decorated La Soufflé herself – mostly from donated furniture. Which kind of explains this:

Ouch. My eyeballs.

Elwin: We’ve invited Chef Sophia to talk to us today, and show us the ‘after’ picture. After Hailey and I gave her restaurant the star treatment, that is!

Ahh…that’s better!

Chef Sophia: I was SO happy when I could afford to hire you guys to redo my restaurant. I can’t even believe the ‘before’ picture anymore! I love the way it turned out, and my customers do too. I especially like the clear tables that separate the kitchen from the rest of the restaurant. They give the impression of openness, while also letting me bake without tripping over my customers! Plus, they’re great for displaying treats.

I also love the fireplace –SO many Webkinz like sitting by the fire and enjoying a coffee and a pastry.

Elwin: Mmm…speaking of which, I don’t suppose you brought any treats with you?

Hailey: ELWIN!

Elwin: I’m sorry…but they’re good!

Chef Sophia: Actually, I did! I brought a cheesecake.

Elwin: Well, that means two things. One, this interview is over, and two I’ve got to go get some forks.

Iove the new place. Love the fireplace and i disagree with the person who said it was too busy and needed counters. You did a great job and should be very proud to show it off..

I wish they would list the items they used in the new room so I can try to copy it for my own house!

In the first room, alot of the chairs don’t match. But in the second room, i love the idea of the glass tables as countertops!
The amount of seating is amazing. They did a great job of making it look professional

I hate the second! The first is so BETTER!

I luv the overall look~ the only thing I wouldn’t like is the customers seeing me fumbling around behind the glass tables! (tee-hee) I LUV the fireplace area, too! :) :)

Wow, great job Hailey and Elwin! I enjoy looking at your designs that you use for all of the ‘after’ pictures. I’m not a great designer myself. I also wish that Hailey and Elwin had their own shop in Webkinz World, so you could hire them ‘redo’ your room. Yeah, mine itself is a mess!

I honestly don’t like the finished product at all. Its way too busy. If you moved out the pink stuff, along with the gold fireplace, it would look at bit better. But its really too busy and I just don’t like it. It could of been way better. Also, counters would look better than dining tables.
