Dear Sparky,

Science Camp is awesome! Well, I know I just got here yesterday, and to be honest we haven’t actually done any real science yet, but I’m still having lots of fun! I’m so glad that Alex came with me because it’s really nice having someone you know to share a bunk with. When we got here we unpacked in our cabin and then they broke us up into groups and took us on a tour of the camp. You should see the labs! They have every piece of scientific equipment you could imagine! There’s also a really nice beach because unfortunately we don’t get to do science ALL the time. They expect us to go outside and swim and hike and stuff too. Alex thinks that is cool, but between you and me I’m not so crazy about wasting all that valuable research time away from the lab! After our tour it was almost time for dinner and so we had a weenie roast around the campfire. As we roasted our weenies one of the counselors explained how the structural composition of the meat changes when it is exposed to fire. Cool, huh?  Then we made S’mores and the counselors told us to keep track of how many marshmallows and chocolate chips we use in each S’more and then measure how the cooking time varies depending on the volume. Eating is kind of complicated at Science Camp.

But today I know we’re going to start getting into some real science so I’ve gotta go!

Later,

Booger

I’m glad that you are more into science than having fun. Sometimes, it’s good to have breaks. It will relax you and will be good for your brain and your immune system. I am kind of like that too. I am so into one sport, but doing too much will hurt you. But doing to little and taking too many breaks, will hurt you too. Just take it easy, and enjoy yourself! I’m glad you’re having a blast at Science Camp, and remember to have fun while you’re at it.

I’m glad you’re having so much fun Booger. And it must be fun always having someone to talk with that you already know about all this. ♥

Wow, who knew eating was so SCIENTIFIC? Well, I’m not the type to explore how meat changes in fire and stuff, so I’ll leave that to the pros. ~CC~

      Ditto. :-)

I think all that IS science, Booger. And even scientists kick their sandals off and enjoy a good swim and hike! Have fun at Science Camp, if not already! ~Phoenix Wind~

To me that’s really confusing and I’m going to sixth grade. I’m not exactly a genius on science stuff, but it’s good that Booger and Alex likes it. ~#1Directioner(CatLizKT)

I’m glad that Booger is having fun! I was supposed to do counsellor training for a science camp this summer, but I’m going to be away.

I don’t ever get science, let me be honest. I mean, I’m going to be in 8th grade next year, and I hate science class. My favorite class would be language. ;) But Booger, hope you’re having fun. You too, Alex. ~Chicago Made☠

Sounds like fun! Your friend sarahandlacey!  ;-) :-)

I hate science, too. Unfortunately, I have year-round chemistry this year instead of just one semester…. 10th grade, baby! :P (Yes, I’m going to be a sophomore and still spend most of my time on Webkinz. I have no life. XD)

          • Chicago Made says:

I HATE chemistry! It’s so horrible! And when I get into high school, I’m going to hate chemistry class. ~Chicago Made☠

        • nihao9 says:

Science is okay for me, but for me, my worst class is math! I just dislike math so much! I’m going into seventh grade this year, I am 12 years old! Your Friend nihao9!! :D ;) :D

I love science to be honest. I could understand people NOT liking, but I love it. Glad your having fun and always writing your family back home. I’m always open if you’d… maybe… um… invite me one time. ;) ;) ;( :) §§~Tron~§§

Lucky! They do camp! But I think it’s a whole month, and that’s unrealistic. I went to camp for a week (41/2 days, 4 nights) and it was fun, and I actually wish I was still there. It ended on Friday. But a month? No, not a month. (I mean, until I’m in high school or college and am the counselor for the Summer, like my counselor was (but not my CIT)) ~:: kkf~~kinzklipfan~~ :: $ P.S. I like science also. ;)
