Here’s a great way to incorporate healthy foods into your diet and and get exercise and fresh air while you’re at it! Why not plan a picnic?
Start with pretty homemade invitations. Decorate them with flowers and butterflies in keeping with your outdoor theme. And don’t forget to include a map to the picnic site!
For your menu, prepare healthy choices like fresh fruit, salad, raw vegetables and sandwiches on whole wheat bread. Bring big bottles of water and cups so you can share them.
After a relaxing lunch, why not explore the area with a brisk walk? Or include everyone in a fun game of tag!

I love picnics… so relaxing and fun. It’s even better when the weather is perfect and sunny! We have this really big park by us that’s perfect for picnics… trails, lots and lots of trees, a play ground, 3 swingsets, and a HUGE hill for sledding on in the winter. I go there with my brother sometimes. I’d like to go with my friends, but both of them don’t really like relaxing things like that. Maybe my friend that’s a boy would want to go, he’s nice! :D
I would want to do this with my friend today, but I’m not feeling very well at the moment.
