Salley Cat’s Favorite Oatmeal Cookies

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Ingredients

  • ½  cup butter, softened
  • ½  cup white sugar
  • ½  cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cups all-purpose flour
  • ½  teaspoon baking soda
  • ½  teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional)
  • 1 ½  cups quick cooking oats
  • Adult Assistant
  • Cookie sheets

Directions

  1. In a medium bowl, mix the butter, white sugar, and brown sugar. Beat the egg and then the vanilla.
  2. Slowly and carefully, add the flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon. Mix in oats.
  3. Have your adult assistant preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Grease cookie sheets.
  4. Spoon the dough onto the cookie sheets, about 2 inches apart.
  5. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in preheated oven. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

    Sounds, good, but it needs chocolate chips. The point of cookies is the chocolate chips inside.

    Hey those cookies look good and I think i have all the ingredients except ground cinnamon and that is optional so yeah but anyways I am going to cook it by myself cause sis is at drivers ed moms in town dads at work and other sis is getting ready to go to work so yeah haha and i love to cook.

      oh yay oatmeal coookies! my family loves oatmeal cookies! i am not a big fan… but that is probably because the batch they made was awful and it turned me off. lol i will try these!
