What you need:

  • 1 Egg
  • 3/4 cup all purpose flour
  • 4 tablespoons of butter (softened)
  • 6 crushed peppermint candies
  • 1/8 cup sugar
  • Parchment paper

What you do:

1. Mix all the ingredients together in a mixing bowl.

2. Grab a small part of the batter and divide into 2 balls.

3. Take one ball and roll it into a snake and do the same with the other ball.

4. Lay down both “snakes” beside each other on parchment paper and make an X with the snakes and then cross the ends.

5.     Bake at 350 until golden (about 25 minutes)

Do you have a great idea for a craft, recipe or party game? We’d love to hear them!

They kind of look like cinnamon (cinammon?) churros. :):):) maybe you could do that instead of peppermint!

I’m not the biggest fan of peppermint or butterfingers, but they are both pretty good! I am definetley going to make these when Christmas comes along!

The recipe sounds good, but I would like to try it with butterscotch candy instead of peppermint!

Nah, I 100% dislike butterfingers, or anything butterscotch. I’ll stick to pepermint. -Moonstar◙◙◙

I like Butterfingers, but they get stuck in my teeth and they are REALLY crumbly. It pretty much falls apart once you take a bite.

We made these last night for dessert using butterscotch (not butterfingers) and they were scrumptious! Mint and peppermint gives me a stomach ache, so I am happy that I was able to adapt the recipe to my liking…
