When Elwin and I were just little elephants, we had to share a room. It was, in some ways, SO much fun (we often talked waaaaay after we should’ve been asleep, and we always had each other for company, in case we got scared at night). In other ways, though, it was more difficult. Elwin snores, so that was slightly less than awesome. And I’m a total neat-freak, while he’s MUCH messier. In other words, we drove each other crazy.
When my family moved to our new house, we each got our own room (hooray!). I was talking to my friend Amanda Panda the other day and she told me a similar story – except that she still shares a room with her little sister, Polly. On the plus side, their mom and dad offered to pay for a room makeover. So Elwin and Hailey to the rescue!

This is the room Elwin and I created for them! Now Polly can study and read and Amanda can be crafty and listen to music – and with the dividers, it’s ALMOST like they each have their own room – awesome!

Where do they put their clothes in the new room? Are their under-the-bed drawers or something?
No offense, but as a room designer I’d have to say both the rooms turned out pretty bad. There are too many colours, too much randomness. And that is the worse choice for flooring for this type of room.
C’mon Ganz. Surely you can do better?
