Ella Interviews Dr. Quack

Ella McWoof: I am thrilled today to be joined by Webkinz World’s foremost medical practitioner, Dr. Quack.

Dr. Quack: Oh, Ella. You’re making me blush!

EM: Dr. Quack, it really is an honor to have you here. I know how busy you are.

DQ: That’s true. I’m pretty much at the Clinic all the time!

EM: What about those rare moments when you’re not working? What do you like to do for fun?

DQ: I like to golf. I like to cook. I really like having friends over for dinner. I like having tea with my dear friend, Ms. Birdy.

EM: You and Ms. Birdy have been friends for quite a long time, haven’t you?

DQ: Oh, yes. Emily and I go way back.

EM: Dr. Quack, not too many Webkinz know how you got started in the medical profession – can you fill us in?

DQ: Well, to be honest…I thought I was going to be an engineer. Lots of ducks in my family are engineers, and I thought I should be one as well. But when I went to school and started learning about engineering, I realized: it just wasn’t for me. My dad was NOT very happy to hear that, until I told him I thought I’d make a good doctor. He said that if that’s what I really wanted to be, I should pursue it with all my heart. So I did!

EM: Becoming a doctor isn’t easy, though.

DQ: No, it’s a lot of hard work. But it pays off! You get to help out others and make a real difference. It’s all worth it.

EM: OK, I’ve got five questions for you.

DQ: Let’s hear them!

EM: Favorite food?

 DQ: Apples, of course!

EM: Favorite color?

DQ: Yellow. It’s such a sunny color!

EM: Favorite family member?

DQ: Oh, all of them. I couldn’t choose a favorite!

EM: Favorite place to vacation?

DQ: Anywhere sunny. Or snowy. I just like going away, actually.
