Hey friends – I’m so glad I’ve got you guys to talk to. Why? Because PJ and I had a ginormous fight.
It’s all about the end-of-year party. She just wouldn’t listen to my ideas. I just wanted to keep the party small and invite our closest friends. I think it’s more fun to host five or ten guests at my place. We could order pizza and watch movies and even roast marshmallows in the backyard. But noooo! She wants to have some gigantic bash in the park. “Let’s invite the whole wide world!” she said.
Seriously? I don’t want, like, eighty kids at the party. I don’t even KNOW eighty kids to invite. That’s insane! Plus, who’s going to buy the pizza for that many guests? Ugh! And then she called me a ‘homebody’ and ‘a downer’ and said I ‘needed to expand my horizons.’
Whatever! As if she’s the worldliest Webkinz. I can’t believe she said those things. I saw her at school yesterday and she wouldn’t even look at me – she just linked arms with Amanda Panda and walked in the other direction.
Did I over-react, friends? What did I do wrong?
I think Ella has a point. With that many kids you can’t spend much time with your friends. You barely get to see anyone!

I think you might have overreacted a TEENSY BIT. I think a big party would be AWESOME!!!!!!!
I mean, just a few friends is great! but what if you meet a brand NEW BFF?! and as for PJ ignoring you at school,
I suggest walking right up to her and saying something like, “PJ! you cannot just ignore me because you don’t like my idea!”
but make sure it’s right before the bell rings cause then she won’t have any time to respond. and those are my words of wisdom. I hope I didn’t sound NERDY :)
Oh come on it’s friendship month! Work it out
Look why can’t you guys just put your heads together and come up with an idea both of you would love? Also, this isn’t that much of a big deal for her not to talk to you. It’s different if this were over something more serious. Not where to host a party!
well if u guys are friends u guys should talk about it.
My two cents here: Usually don’t comment on impractical situations like this but after reading a few, here goes:
Selfish, illogical & TOTALLY impractical to even want a party with so many people you can’t afford to feed / entertain them. In this economy are you expecting anyone to front that much moolah [$$$$$] for such a party. Let’s not encourage the use of credits cards, a no no!!
Or if ya want a really BIG partay, make it a pot luck, that way EVERYONE gets to contribute and no one is responsible for the total cost. And pizza, as expensive as it is forget it!!! Pot Lucks are much more practical, efficient and hey, it’s like going to a buffet!! So many choices . . . so little time [LOL] And OMG what a great idea!!!
Also, for fun & games, have a “gift trading” thingy. Every one brings a wrapped gift, put them in a big basket and pass it around and pick a gift [$5 limit]. This plan will work VERY WELL for large groups and NO ONE BARES THE TOTAL EXPENSE BURDEN.
This is the plan and everyone is happy. So Ella McWoof & PJ, if they sit down and talk this out, will really conclude this is a PERFECT solution to an illogical impractical and futile debate. Can I hear an amen! AAAAA-MEN!!

i think you should have half the party outside, and half the party inside. and invite tin people. she invites five and you invite five. hope this helps! bye
Why don’t you just tell her how you feel. and both of you, just invite 20 people she chooses tin and you choose tin, and you could have half the party outside and half the party inside, hope this helps! Au Revoir
I AM WITH PJ END OF SCHOOL DO NOT WANT TO HURT PEOPLES FEELINGS BY NOT INVITING THE HAVE A BIG PARTIE, AND IF YOU CANT GET ENOUGH PIZZAS MAKE IT A PARTIE WHERE PEOPLE HAVE TO BRING FOOD TO FEED AT LEAST 5 TO COME
Why dont you guys have a potluck with a medium amount of kids coming. With that you would have your food and medium guests and Pj would have her jam packed party.
