Hi readers! It’s me, Hailey. My brother Elwin and I have been pretty busy lately, giving the Henrietta Hippo Theater an overhaul in preparation for hosting the popular contest, Kinzville Sings! The thing is, not many people know that Elwin is a really good singer. My mom and dad and I would always hear him singing when he was in the shower, and I don’t even know if he knows it but he often sings to himself while he’s working on blueprints at the office. While we were in the theater working the other day, I could see that he was really distracted, watching some of the auditions and I thought to myself, ‘he’s just as good as anyone up on that stage. He should audition.’ I mean, I know he’s not going to win or anything, but it would be fun to get on the show, right? When I suggested it to him, he just laughed and said no, but I told him to think about it and the next day he told me that he’d decided to do it. And do you know what? He got up there and he was awesome! I think the judges were really impressed and he might even get through to the finals. I knew he’d have a blast! It makes a fun change from decorating for a week or two.

Great job, Elwin! I think I’m going to go for Ms.Birdy, but that’s just me. I wish we could actually hear what they sound like. Oh and speaking of singing, I’m a pretty good singer, too! At least my friends say so ;) ~~Rainbow*Rain~~

I can relate 2 Elwin w/ the singing business. People say that my parents gave me the right name (Angela) because my voice sounds like an angel’s. But the truth is, I don’t really like singing. My passion is dance. So that’s why I think Kinzville should host a “Kinzville’s Got Talent” competition. #Lemon^Starburst#
I like singing, but I hate dancing. I’m a good singer, as my friend, SOAD Chick says. Elwin, you should sound like some angel, I guess. My voice doesn’t really sound like an angel’s, but I can still do good singing. I have sung in front of a lot of my friends in my family, and they said that I sound good, but I could use a little more practice. ;) Dancing on the other hand, not my thing to do. @Lemon Starburst – I agree on the “Kinzville’s Got Talent” competition. ~Chicago Made☠
Thanks 4 agreeing! I meant 2 say people THINK my voice sounds like an angel’s. My voice is kinda cracky right now because I have a cold at the moment. I dance 5 days a week & sing 0 days a week so u can understand that I prefer dancing. #Lemon^Starburst#

@LemonStarburst- I totally agree! I’m with you- I hate singing, but dance is my passion. I hope you feel better soon, colds stink. :) Some people say I have a good voice, but personally I’d rather dance or write the songs. I like to write music, just not sing it! ;)

Oh Lemon Starburst, don’t you know that you can be passionate about both dancing & singing? My little “angels” are pretty well rounded when it comes to things they enjoy & love to do but the funny thing is while they will dance & ice skate in front of HUGE crowds & love to sing in a chorus/choir: they’re both terribly shy when it comes to singing (& playing music) for an audience. : / We wish WebKinz would offer more dance clothing, maybe some tap & jazz shoes -oh, & ice skates too seeing as they offer a baby blue ice skating costume dress, it sure would be neat to have the skates to match it- & we’d love to have pointe shows & fluffy tutus, as well as the Irish dance outfit & maybe a snappier looking practice leotard. We have thought up so many ideas for WebKinz dance clothes, but I guess we’ll have to wait & see if the designers will make our wishes come true. If you could design a dance outfit for WebKinz, what would it look like?

I know I can sing, but whenever I sing, even if I’m alone, I’m so shy. Kodiak says I sing like the guitarist of her favorite band. Time Bandit thinks I sing like a singer. I know I can sing camp songs, those don’t require showing off extreme skills.
I used to be able to sing as well as Northwestern, but then I had a really bad case of step throat, and my voice never quite came back the same. It has always been slightly raspy ever since. Time Bandit can really sing well though…and even Styx fan’s voice is coming on well these days
