Elwin Presents: Camp Counselor Cabin Makeover

So Hailey and I just went to check out the counselor’s cabin we been enlisted to redesign. Wow! Well, I’ll let you take a look for yourself.

Can you say “YAWN”? How beige is that? I guess it would be fine if the counselors were mindless clones, but since I can’t imagine four more unique individuals than Amanda, Kimmy, PJ and Ella – well, this is just not going to do. We need to inject some warmth and personality into this space.

Now here is a space where the counselors can feel free to be themselves. We created separate zones for each counselor to have her own ‘room within a room’. If they need some time to themselves, they can take refuge in their own little sleeping quarters. Kimmy has a desk for catching up on some crafting in the evenings, and a cozy loveseat to host private chats with her best friend, Amanda Panda. PJ has a colorful corner with a large Hidden Barrel Bounty Dresser to hold all the latest fashions she brought with her from the KinzStyle Outlet. Although she left the Wish Factory back in Kinzville, Amanda Panda has a spacious trunk for housing her ever-growing collection of odds and ends. And at the end of each night, Ella likes to plunk down in her soft wicker chair and go over her notes of all the wacky things that have happened at camp. Of course, the counselors need some together time too, so we set up a rustic table and chairs in the middle of the room where they can share late-night snacks, play games on rainy days or simply fill each other in on what the campers have been up to.

I think this new look gives the counselors plenty of room to do their own thing as well as infusing the space with their unique personalities, rather than the bland, featureless area we started out with.

Umm how do I tell you guys this but…………………………………………………………………….I like the FIRST room way better! The second room is to random with stuff splatered every where! Sorry but I’m kinda critical!

Anyways, I think the first room was better now that I look at the second one. But none of them are amazing. Actually, they aren’t even good. They’re OK.

    Okay, here’s my opinion:

First one: I love it! It’s chic, and you could add some more decorations on the wall to make it feel like the perfect cabin!

Second one: Don’t really like it. What’s with the mismatching beds? Not a very good idea. And also, the camp counselors would probably need a clear table to discuss things. Move the cactus somewhere else! And I don’t like the barrel dresser at all in it. It just doesn’t go!

I don’t think it’s their best room but it’s not bad. It’s unique! That’s what I like! :) That’s all I can say so !!!Bye!!!.

The after picture could be one of those ‘before” pictures!!! they always say stuff like “none of the furniture matches” for other rooms they’ve done so i don’t see how this is any better yeah the first one was boring but i could do better
