Kinzville Academy Tour – Part 4

Finally, readers, let me show you just how much we at Kinzville Academy value the arts. We feel that music, visual arts and performing arts are all integral to the education of a well-rounded young ‘Kinz.

We like our students to feel inspired to create innovative works of art, so we have tried to create an atmosphere in our art classroom that stimulates the senses. From sculpture, to sketching and painting, our students try their hands at a wide variety of artistic techniques and media. We encourage students to think outside the box and explore their own creativity. There are no right or wrong answers in art class – the only limitations are one’s imagination! But oh dear – it looks as though there’s been a little accident in the corner!

Music plays an important role here at Kinzville Academy. Our students are encouraged to play a wide range of musical instruments – each instrument requires its own set of disciplines.  Singing is also a staple of our curriculum. Our students just love to get into music class and create beautiful harmonies. Walking by the door of the music room to hear the notes of an enchanting melody wafting out brings me such joy!

Dance and drama offer a wonderful outlet through which our youngsters can express themselves. Our auditorium allows students to experiment with movement and theatrics. They enjoy putting on plays for their peers and their parents, and our dance recitals are some of the most popular events of the school year.

I am so proud of the many talents of the students of Kinzville Academy. I do hope you’ve enjoyed our little tour as much as I’ve enjoyed showing you around.

Have a wonderful school year, Webkinz fans!
