I guess you’ve probably heard what we’re doing for our ‘exciting November event’ right? A fall fair. Well, I just want to say right here and now: it’s not going to work. Not the way Salley and Stoogles want to do it, anyway.
I mean, seriously- did you hear about the stuff they want to rent? We cannot afford a roller coaster or a super swing or any of the other ridiculous ideas Salley and Stoogles came up with. And when I told them that their budget was WAAAY too high (I AM the treasurer, after all), did they listen? Did they thank me? No! They got all mad and defensive! Argh! Those two can be SO annoying.
Anyway, I don’t know what it’ll take to make them realize THEY are wrong and I am RIGHT, but they’re going to have to figure that out pretty soon, or the fall fair will be the fail fair.
Rather than argue over who’s right and who’s wrong or expect thanks for doing your job, let’s remember what the real issue is. Stoogles and Salley don’t realize how much things cost. Perhaps the best thing would be simply to suggest a shopping trip to see what is within budget. That might give Salley and Stoogles a little bit of reality, while keeping the atmosphere professional. Instead of putting each other down and losing your enthusiasm for a great project, you could work together to put on a great fair that everyone can enjoy.
I agree that things are a bit pricy, but if you can come up with it why not!

I agree with you Purr Cilla! I hate expensive things!

Is it just me, or has Salley gotten a little bossy since she became class president? She seems to think since she’s in charge she can act a little like she’s the boss of Purr-cilla. Purr-cilla should be nicer, but she is right that kinz will be upset and nothing will work out.
Purr-Cilla: How difficult this situation must be for you! Could you present them with some numbers so that they can see how much their plan is really going to cost, and also remind them how much is available to spend? And perhaps brainstorm ideas with them for what they can do that would be super fun for everyone?
now listen purr-cilia. because your treasurer doesn’t mean your the boss. i know I’m a treasurer myself. if your the president that’s a different story but that’s not the point. the point is find out what you can do within your budget like pinata, balloon darts, and thing like that. if this does work (I’m not doubting now) you shouldn’t have the price for tickets too high otherwise people won’t come. so let the president decide what to do. if you have no president let sally decide.
I TOTALLY agree!
How about you compromise… like still do games but not above budget.
Games: bean bag toss
pin the tail on the Webkinz
balloon dartz
jellybean challenge
Events: show your accomplishments to your parents
picnic, etc….
I don’t like her attitude, but I kind of think she’s right. Something like that can get expensive. A few years ago, we had a fun fair that had beanbag tosses, cotton candy, and that game where you aim the ring at the bottles. One or two expensive things is okay, though. There was a bounce-house at our fair. I agree, don’t go overboard, but don’t take all the fun out, either.
Calm down Purr-cilla! I think it’s worth a try. Instead of having rollercoasters you could have fun games llike bean bag toss or pumpkin painting. Luv, Jazzy
Purr-cilla! Look on the bright side of things. Even if their ideas might be a little too pricey, it’s not too hard to come up with an alternate game or ride at the fair. I’m not going to take sides here, but I do think that you should be a little bit nicer to them when you tell them that you think it might be too expensive.

yeah, the S’s ideas r pricey. but i agree w\ jazzy. it doesn’t have 2 b expensive 2 b fun!!!
You know… she is right. I agree with her that they cannot possibly afford huge roller coasters and rides and stuff like that. But, maybe they could rent an open space and make an obstacle course? Sounds like a good idea to me! They could also have games too. ;)
*Luv from LillyLuvie*
Yeah, Purr-Cilla, just stop it, you sound like your Queen of the World sometimes.
And anyways, what’s the point? So what if it’s a little pricey, they just had a bake sale!
They so have 500 Kinzcash and I bet people on here are more than happy to make a donation.

Purr-Cilla isn’t being rude or unkind in any way. She is saying that their ideas are unreasonable. I agree with her that a roller-coaster is too much for some kids to build in a couple of weeks or so. They should listen to her and make realistic ideas for the fair. Stuff like breaking a pinata in 5 hits, or Balloon Darts, or Guess the amount of Jelly Beans in the Jar, and things that you would expect to be apart of Wacky’s Log-Out Carnival are GOOD ideas – not a super swing or rollercoaster or any other far-out idea.
I think Purr-Cilla is right, and Salley and Stoogles should find something else. But that doesn’t mean that the Fall Fair can’t be fun.
I think they should cutback too!
500 kinzcash isn’t that much. Some w-shop things are at least one thousand, 500 most likely wont get roller coasters and swings and all that stuff. It’s a great idea but they do need to be sensible.
Purr-Cilla’s right for once. Like, how are Salley and Stoogles going to finance that fair?
For once, I actually agree with Purr-cilla and think Salley and Stoogles are crazy. :D ~:: kkf~~kinzklipfan~~ :: $
