To g and Lilly the cat lover: First of all, the contest doesn’t start until tomorrow( at least were I live it doesn’t until tomorrow). But when it does start you have to log in then go to the front page(Home) and click on the “Find the Golden Deluxe Dragon” icon( like it shows above). Once you do that you have to search the Webkinz Newz pages for the Golden Deluxe Dragon. Hope this helps!!!
I like the ideal of winning the statue BUT BUT I think the dragon should be for sale for All Deluxe members! I do not think it is fair to offer a free pet to new deluxe members and not offer the Deluxe members that renew yearly (without the promise of a free pet) It does not seem fair! But I would like to know what other deluxe members think about the subject? I will say I am sorry if my fellow Deluxe members think this is no big deal. I do not see rewards for members who renew for nothing more then the wonderful features.
To Jennifer: The dragon is offered as a special item if you renewed your Deluxe Membership on the 4th of the month of April. You have choices to renew membership. One gives you the dragon and the other gives you bonus points. It depends on what you decide to choose. I made the error of thinking when I renewed my membership and also added four other members and received the 5000 points for each of the other memberships, that I would get the dragon as well. I was incorrect.. If I had waited until the 4th to renew I would have gotten the dragon but not the points. It means we must all read everything regarding signing up for new memberships. Hope this helps you. Now I am looking to find the dragon here in the Newz contest.
Jennifer, I do agree that Ganz is trying so hard to get new estore members that they have forgotten about their loyal Deluxe members. Especially when they discount estore stuff so regular members get items for the same price as Deluxe members and give new swag to new members that existing Deluxe members can’t get.
You can’t cancel, then start a new acct to get the swag, either, so it is disappointing. Sure, you can get bonus points, but it’s sometimes the little extras that make it more fun. I’m sure there are lots of loyal Deluxers who feel the same way, even though we love Deluxe.
I am pretty ticked that loyal deluxe members are not getting the dragon as well. All this teaches me is that I won’t renew my deluxe membership with webkinz until I see a deal pop up. This would actually cause Ganz to lose money, as people will start delaying when they get their memberships for a month or two, or even more. It was completely unfair to their Deluxe members who always renew even without a bonus ~ and aren’t those the people who Ganz should want to please the most?
I got the Deluxe Dragon for renewing my deluxe account, as a matter of fact I got a dragon for each deluxe account I renewed. I got the code for each dragon the very next morning just like the ad said.

I agree! I think it would be AWESOME if the prize was the Golden Dragon itself. Hopefully next time it will be something cooler, like a Webkinz!!
