Molly’s Birthday Party: Part 1

Nibbles Hippo, reporting from Molly’s birthday party. I’d like to say that it’s been a huge success, but…that’s not entirely true. Here’s what’s happened so far: we all arrived here at 4:00, ready for some pizza and cake and games. When we first got here, we played truth or dare and some card games. And that was great. Until Millie came back from a play date with a friend.

Millie noticed the card game and decided that SHE knew better about how to play. She grabbed the deck of cards and threw them up in the air, laughing as they fell.

Molly yelled for her mom, and Millie was trotted upstairs.

We went into the kitchen after a little while to get some drinks and pizza. When we got there, Molly’s mom said the pizza guy hadn’t come yet, but that we could help ourselves to chips and soda. Millie, however, had already been doing just that. She tasted all of the different potato chips. The ones she didn’t like, she spit out and put back in the bowl.

Needless to say, no one ate any chips. The soda was good, until Millie insisted on pouring her own and spilled the bottle.

I honestly though Molly was going to cry, but her mom said she had more in the cupboard.
Molly’s mom suggested that we watch a movie until the pizza arrived. So we did – except that Millie sang and danced through most of it, so we really didn’t hear all that much of the dialogue.

After about half an hour, Molly’s mom stomped down into the basement. “Millie,” she said angrily, “Did someone come to the door earlier this evening?” Millie nodded.
“Did you tell that someone to go away?”
“Yup!” Millie said proudly. “No strangers at my sister’s party!”
“Was that someone carrying a pizza?” Molly’s mom asked, looking tired.
“Yes!” Millie said. “Three pizzas!”
“WHAT?!” Molly yelled. “First she ruins our games, then she wrecks the movie and eats our snacks, and now she wrecked dinner? Not to mention the balloons yesterday. Millie, you are the WORST sister ever! My birthday is RUINED because of you!”

Molly ran all the way up to her room and slammed the door.

And now we’re all sitting here, wondering what to do next.

Well i have 3 big brothers and i am the youngest ( only girl) they’re trouble to me and all, but it beats having a pesky little sister that ruins parties.

    Happy birthday Molly!

thats how i feel with my sister

  7. MDIChickadee says:

Wow! A pizza delivery person listened to what a young child said? Amazing! And Millie seems out-of-control at times – the parents need to work on her behavior with her. Poor Molly! Molly’s friends: listen to what her mom says to you. The situation is a mess, and I hope the parents soon take appropriate action to make things better. Maybe that door lock is a better idea than I thought …

do not worry only a little more time before they grow up

Wow, I’m really glad my siblings aren’t like that anymore. Don’t worry, Molly, they DO eventually grow out of it. ;)

    • Starburst says:

O mi gosh. Millie is HORRIBLE!!!!!(this is why the lock was a MAJORLY good idea. Maybe one to lock her out of the house. )

      • Northwestern...all bad things stop it at once! says:

No, Molly’s mom should have scedueled the playdate to go through dinner so Millie wouldn’t be there in the first place, and Millie should be grounded- double-dog grounded in her room right now. Poor Molly!

        • Moonstar says:

Ok, I would have screamed at my brother if that happened. I mean, ruining my Birthday? One of the most special days of the years, ruined like that? That is so sad! But I would not have said You’re the worst brother ever! That was rude and my mom would have gotten mad at me whatever he did. -Moonstar◙◙◙

          • SwedishLatte says:

That’s really sad, Molly! I’m not sure you should have called Millie “the worst sister ever” though even though you were upset. :(

            That’s horrible!!!

My sister does this EVERY SINGLE TIME when I have parites. It stinks. It drives me crazy. But I tell her to go away and of course she doesn’t listen. So heres an idea that I came up with: Pretend like your doing something boring like talking about school or grades or stuff like that. Millie will go away after she realizes that its SUPER boring! When she leaves you can do what you want to do without her bothering you! WORKS GREAT!

            *Luv from LillyLuvie*

          • krystalkat says:

Me too LillyLuviie! I do that with my friends and she goes away. Once we started talking about the library being painted and that got her moving.

Ha ha, funny Lillyluvie! Sometime you have to see my party room! For my super early birthday party (I had that party on November 12 and my birthday is December 15!) all the girls from my Club Soccer team came and it was 17 girls in all (including me and my BFF) and it was chaotic! But my brother and dad went to a hotel. So this didn’t happen but still it was pure chaos! -Moonstar◙◙◙

          • lightpapa says:

I talk about boring stuff, too, and if my sister(s) don’t go away I start talking about stuff we did without her/them and she/they go away to tell on us and then we go to my room and lock the door! My mom doesn’t yell at me because it isn’t being mean to talk as long as I’m not being rude. And how is it being rude to talk about fun stuff? And it was always awful before I got a lock- that is SO what you should get her! (And unlike me, remember not to let younger sisters carry off the key!) And a lock would be nice when Robby and Bobby come again! You would let them color on SOMEONE else’s wall! (You know I’m talking about Millie!)

          • Sameth says:

Awesome! I’ll do that next time that happens to me! Thanks, LillyLuviie!

          • PikachuHazelNut says:

I agree with that. But despite the fact she doesn’t know any better, I think she can be a real brat sometimes. I feel so sorry Molly! Not to be rude, but I am just so glad that I have an older sister, older brother, and I’m the youngest. Well, I hope you did have a good birthday Molly. BTW how old is Molly now?

          • Kristall igelkott says:

Now, I’m happy my little brother isn’t like that. Or at least, wouldn’t do that at my birthday party! Also, PikachuHazelNut, (nice name, by the way) Molly is now thirteen years old. if you search the tag ‘Back to School” on the Newz Searchbar, you’ll see that Molly was twelve last year.

Hey, don’t worry, everything will turn out. I know the future…. Molly’s birthday will be better than she thought….

          • krystalkat says:

I agree Moonstar. I would of screamed at my sis earlier but I wouldnt throw a fit in front of my friends. I usually get back at my sister someway but usually shes at my neighbors house on my birthday until the cake comes. Little siblings can be such pains.
            ~KK♥

          • coreyhungry says:

i would have said that too if i were her, personally not trying to be to mean but i would make sure millie wouldn’t have a happy heart after that and millie’s waht 6 she shouldn’t have been the one to answer the door!!!!!!

          • WebkinzWizard :) says:

Poor Molly!!!!!! I feel so bad for her. :( Millie was being rude!!!!
I would have been soooo angry if my sister ever did that! But I probably wouldn’t have said that “You’re the Worst sister ever!”

            The *~Webkinz Wizard~* :)

        • Starburst says:

Why won’t mollys mom control Millie?? She’s awful! I would have been furious if my sister did that! And northwestern, I can’t believe boston’s brother got sick on your cake on purpose!!!!!! That is so mean and disgusting!!!! It’s cool u 2 almost have the same birthday tho. I almost have the same birthday as my BFF. :)

        • catluv says:

Wow Northwestern, that must have been gross. I had a huge sleepover not too long ago, and there were six girls there do it was chaos! But it turned out fine. Still, my dad took my little sister away while my party was going on, so she didn’t bother us.
          ~catluv…luv the cats!~

        • silverlvr says:

Hey! MY cousin was born the day after me too! I didn’t know that had happened to anyone else – it’s kinda weird……. :)

          • Northwestern...actually says:

It also happened with my second cousin on the other side of the family. He would be Boston ROCK’s cousin three times removed. It’s interesting how my cousin’s birthdays fell

    • Wittytaylorswiftgirl23 says:

I have always wanted a little sister to look up to me but this makes it seem like a nightmare maybe I am lucky to have a twin brother that hardly ever gets annoyed with me. Though he is at my party’s he seems to make them more fun! A lot of my friends like to tease him (one time my friend had a rubber something and cause they both did karate they started hitting each other with it, it was so awesome)

    • snuggles56100 says:

I AM SO GLAD I AM A ONLY CHILD! BUT I DO WANT A BABY BROTHER!

    • dawndrop16 says:

Wow, that’s terrible. I have a cousin who’s pretty much like that. It’s really annoying. A lock for Molly’s room is a really good idea, so she can get some privacy. I didn’t think Millie was that much of a brat. ~*Dawn*~
