Molly’s Birthday Party: Part 1

Nibbles Hippo, reporting from Molly’s birthday party. I’d like to say that it’s been a huge success, but…that’s not entirely true. Here’s what’s happened so far: we all arrived here at 4:00, ready for some pizza and cake and games. When we first got here, we played truth or dare and some card games. And that was great. Until Millie came back from a play date with a friend.

Millie noticed the card game and decided that SHE knew better about how to play. She grabbed the deck of cards and threw them up in the air, laughing as they fell.

Molly yelled for her mom, and Millie was trotted upstairs.

We went into the kitchen after a little while to get some drinks and pizza. When we got there, Molly’s mom said the pizza guy hadn’t come yet, but that we could help ourselves to chips and soda. Millie, however, had already been doing just that. She tasted all of the different potato chips. The ones she didn’t like, she spit out and put back in the bowl.

Needless to say, no one ate any chips. The soda was good, until Millie insisted on pouring her own and spilled the bottle.

I honestly though Molly was going to cry, but her mom said she had more in the cupboard.
Molly’s mom suggested that we watch a movie until the pizza arrived. So we did – except that Millie sang and danced through most of it, so we really didn’t hear all that much of the dialogue.

After about half an hour, Molly’s mom stomped down into the basement. “Millie,” she said angrily, “Did someone come to the door earlier this evening?” Millie nodded.
“Did you tell that someone to go away?”
“Yup!” Millie said proudly. “No strangers at my sister’s party!”
“Was that someone carrying a pizza?” Molly’s mom asked, looking tired.
“Yes!” Millie said. “Three pizzas!”
“WHAT?!” Molly yelled. “First she ruins our games, then she wrecks the movie and eats our snacks, and now she wrecked dinner? Not to mention the balloons yesterday. Millie, you are the WORST sister ever! My birthday is RUINED because of you!”

Molly ran all the way up to her room and slammed the door.

And now we’re all sitting here, wondering what to do next.

This happened to me too! my little brother was born the day after my birthday lol It’s just creepy

  3. PurpleTabby says:

Maybe you should let Mille join in on the party, and make pizza too with her. Besides she might just add fun back to your party!!!!!!!!!

Wooow… Millie is NOT being a nice little girl! But, Molly SHOULD be a little nicer to her. I mean, I’m the youngest. I know what it’s like to be yelled at, and it’s not fun! She is young, and she didn’t know what she was doing. Sending the pizza guy away, that was understandable. She just didn’t want any strangers at her sister’s party!!! And sorry Nibbles, but you had a typo: “I honestly THOUGH Molly was going to cry…” It should be: “I honestly THOUGHT Molly was going to cry…” But, it’s okay. Keep us posted!

That is JUST HORRIBLE! I cannot EVEN believe Millie would do that! Jees louise, Millie is being such a little BRAT! And yes I agree with all of you, Molly’s mother should be controling Millie and keeping her under control! My gosh!

  8. K says:

Yeah! Molly’s mom needs to talk to Millie! It would be annoying to have Millie as a sister. Why doesn’t SOMEBODY talk to Millie or tell her mom to! I bet they are hungry. Cause Millie ate all the snacks! And Millie, If the pizza dude comes, and he has an official label tell him you’ll get mommy. DON’T MAKE EM STARVE MILLIE!

I know how Molly feels. My birthday party was ruined my a GUEST, actually. My mom wanted me to invite her, because her dad and mom worked with my mom, so yeah. I got really cranky because I didn’t like her and she ruined it for my friends…
