Hi! It’s me, Molly. There is a signup sheet in the hall for this year’s teams and clubs. But I can’t decide which ones I want to join. I want to do as much as possible to earn points for our School House, the Quackers. But my dad said that if I join too many teams, I won’t have time for anything else.
I talked to my Phys-ed teacher to see what he thought I should try out for. He said that volleyball, swimming and basketball were my strongest sports, so that sort of narrows it down. I wonder what my friends are signing up for. Maybe I should check out the sign-up sheets and see who I know on each sheet before I sign up.
Well, it looks like Cowabelle, Laurabeard and Polly are trying out for Volleyball. It would be fun to be on the same team as them – plus Cowabelle is in the same School House as me. Stoogles, Roberta and Nibbles are all on the Yearbook Committee. That would be pretty neat to be a part of too. Stoogles and Alex have signed up for Chess Club, and Sparky, Booger and Nibbles are going out for the Swim Team. I was thinking of trying out for the Spirit Squad, but Purr-cilla, Janice and Penelope have all signed up for that. I’m not really sure I want to be on the same squad as them – they’d probably suck all the fun out of it.
I guess maybe I should figure out how many teams I want to join first. And from the signup sheet I can see that some of the teams meet on the same days so I won’t be able to sign up for ones with conflicting schedules. I guess that narrows it down a bit too.
So what do you think would be a good number of teams to join? What would you do if you were me?
How is booger in swimming i though he had no exersice!! Oh i would pick swimming and yearbook comitee!
You Pick! After all, YOU’LL Be doing them.
CANNOT BELIEVE BOOGER SIGNED UP FOR SWIMMING!!!!!!!!!
You should join one or two teams, and go for the spirit squad! I wouldn’t care if mean girls are in the same club (or squad)If Booger tries out for swimming, I hope he won’t sink.
I would do the swimming myself.
I would do swimming and one of the academic ones…. not sure which because I don’t have them memorized… definetley NOT Chess Club though, as I don’t know the first thing about chess, and I feel no need to know.
Swimming and volleyball sounds fun!
