Ms. Cowoline here with a very exciting announcement for my dear students! On January 11, we are going to take a break from learning and spend a day enjoying the winter weather with physical fitness! Yes, we’re having a snow fun day. So if you’re interested in sports – or just running around in the snow – you’re going to have a stellar time! I am interested to hear what kind of sports and activities you’d all like to do, so I’m going to put a suggestion box outside of my office. I can’t wait to read the things you come up with!
I really like ice skating, and although I’ve never been, skiing would probably be fun, too. I also like trying to build a fort, although I’ve never really succeeded. I love the idea of a “winter fun day.” I’m just concerned that the ‘Kinz aren’t getting enough school time. They just got off of break, you know.

Yeah you will proboly have it as the kinz the only ones that put something in the box, like remember the cupcake contest it strange how only some of the kinz win.

I love relay games and making snow men! Those are great idea! How about a snow sculpting contest? And while it might be somewhat difficult to do, how about an treasure hunt, so people like Sparky can think and run around and find clues and win a prize if they get them all correct? Is there a place to sled or ice skate near the Academy? Those might be fun, too. Plan to have a place where people can get warm, too (a fire pit and maybe a hot chocolate stand!)
They could have a snow man making contest!

That sounds cool Starburst! I think that we should have tobogganing/sledding/tubing on the big hill, And maybe a hot chocolate and snow cones station by the doors at the school. Hot chocolate is a great (and delicous) way to warm up and snow cones are so wintery! ^.^

R3dRulez, that sounds a lot like what we do at our school with the sledding on the hill. We call it the Winter Olympics and there’s different competitions like dodging the cones down the hill or seeing how fast you can go. Some of the competitions you can do with a partner too.

You’re so lucky to have a competition like that! At my school, we also have a hill, but we not allowed to be near it when it is wet, snowy, or icy. They say we can get hurt >:( The hill isn’t even that steep!
i noe. so lucky. if ur hill isn’t even steep, they should let kids have some fun. i mean only hills are good for sledding and playing in the snow. i love playing in the snow. but i guess u could get hurt if someone loses their balance and goes tumbling down the hill!!! :lol:
That souynds like fun! I wish my school would do that. But theres 2 problems. One: My school doesnt even let us tough snow during resess. Two: It hasnt even snowed!

I wish my school did something like that but we are lacking one key element…. SNOW! I wish we did have snow. I LOVE snow! We don’t have a huge hill ether. they probubly wouldn’t let people near it but i wouldn’t know since it hasn’t snowed yet this year and i’ve only been at the school 1 year (first year in middle school) -rose says♪♫♪

Fun! Ms. Cowaline, you should defintly do some type of relay race, maybe the kinz could pick up as much snow as the could and try to make the biggest snow tower in 5 minutes exept the kinzs’ legs could b tied tougether like a 3 legged race.

I have a cuple ideas! Ice sculpting, snow forts, ice hocky and an ice skating rink,(I don’t if it’s possable, but in WKW anything can happen!) and a hot coco stand!!! *Peace, Love and Hope, Icewolf*
Okay, Ms.Cowoline, I think you should split kids up in groups of four or five, and then they need to build a fort together as fast as they can. The first group who completes their fort as to wait ten seconds, nobody can touch it, and if it falls, that group is disqualified. Then it will go on until some group completes the challenge!!! =)
