Ms. Stripes’ New Living Room

Well, Elwin and I were a bit nervous about our first room design for Ms. Stripes. We haven’t exactly heard the best things about her from the ‘Kinz. We started with the Living Room and Ms. Stripes said that she really liked soft colors so we decided to go with the Green Leaf Wallpaper. Once we put it up we realized that it would go really nicely with some of the new pieces from the Beach House theme so we used the Weathered Wood End Tables and Coffee Table. We added two white sofas and a pair of Wicker Chairs then we tied in the blues with the soft aqua Plush Rug and as an accent chair, the Trading Card Condo Lounger. We made a workspace in the corner with a Navigator’s Desk and a stately Unbirthday Party chair which picked up the same shade of blue.

When it came time to show Ms. Stripes the end result we were so scared she wouldn’t like it after all the negative stuff we’ve heard about her, but it turned out that she loved it. She was so sweet about it too! She said she wouldn’t change a thing and that we had captured her personality perfectly. Not quite what Nibbles said – when she was talking to us about Ms. Stripes she said the style that would suit her new teacher best would be ‘medieval dungeon.’ I’m not sure what the kids were talking about. She seemed so nice!

I think the ‘Kinz need to give Ms. Stripes a chance. She sounds really nice here. Maybe she just seems mean in the classroom, but I’m sure she’s just trying to teach some of the bad kids disipline.

Maybe Ms. Stripes is nice, but she’s a really strict teacher. Hmmm…

Maybe Ms Stripes came from a tough school & is used to having to be tough with her students? Either that or she has trouble remembering names, thus the alphabetical seating arrangement? Maybe she’s just nervous starting a new job. I don’t think yelling at the students is good, though.

Wow! I love that room! Awesome job, Hailey and Eliwn! And Elwin, I’m SO happy that you’re back designing with Hailey again. And yeah, kids can talk about things they think, but what they think isn’t always the real answer. So, Ms. Stripes was nice, and I think that’s awesome to hear. :) ✖Ⓒⓗⓘⓒⓐⓖⓞ☠ Ⓜⓐⓓⓔ✖ PS – @SOAD Chick – Please trade with me tomorrow! :)

@Chicago Made – I will trade with you tomorrow. ;) And about the room, I like it. good job, Hailey and Elwin! :) I think Ms. Stripes seemd like a nice person, so maybe those kids really don’t know what they’re even saying about her. I have to admit that the colors in that room go good together, and I like how the room has those windows there – That have to be my favorite part about the room, and that it’s blue. :) -SOAD Chick
