What you need:
- Colored card or scrapbooking paper
- White paper
- Ribbon
- A ruler
- Markers
- Ballpoint pen
- pencil
- Stamps or stickers
- 6” x 9” envelopes
What you do:
1. If you have chosen a particular color scheme for your party, select a colored card and a coordinating ribbon in that color. Otherwise, just choose a color you like!
2. Cut the colored paper to 8.5” by 5.5”. Cut your white paper to 7.5” x 4.5”.
3. On your white paper, leaving two inches of white space at the top, write with a colored marker in your neatest handwriting, ‘You’re Invited’.
4. Underneath the heading, using pencil, very lightly write 5 straight lines across the page, with about ½” between each line. With your ballpoint pen on the pencil lines, neatly write what the party is for, the time, date and address, as well as a phone number for RSVPs. Give your ink time to dry and very gently erase your pencil lines.
5. Decorate the space at the bottom of the white page with stamps or stickers in the theme of your party.
6. Take your white sheet, put some glue on the back at the top of the page, and stick it onto the colored card, so that it is centered with a ½” border around the sides. When the glue has dried, take your ribbon and tie it around the top of each invitation, overlapping both the white sheet and the colored card. Tie a bow in the center of the 2” space at the top of your white sheet.
7. Affix the ribbon at the back with a bit of glue.

for this type of thing i would usually use my laptop because i hav a problem with losing important papers. sometimes its in my hand and then all of a sudden poof! its gone.
good idea. for my last and so far only party, i made little paper purses and mirrors and wrote the invitation on there. everyone loved it.
those r WAY TOTALLY cute! i’m not much of a pink fan… but this is awesome!
