Hey, Webkinz fans! Guess what? Persephone was so happy with the bedroom and bathroom that we designed for her she asked Elwin and me to design her kitchen too. She was at a loss – she had a really big space, and she wanted to multitask. She needed plenty of space for food prep and cooking, as well as a dining area with enough space to entertain a large group of friends. She also wanted a work space and with all that in mind, Elwin and I thought it would be really nice to give her an area where she could relax too.
Persephone’s one stipulation was that the kitchen be bright and fun. She spends so much time there it needs to be uplifting and cheery.
Well, cheery was what Persephone wanted and cheery is what she got. We saw the Ice Cream Parlor Wallpaper and we knew right away that it captured the look we were trying to achieve. By pairing it with the Lily Pad Flooring, we gave ourselves a great accent color with the vibrant green. We picked up that green in the Fresh Glass Dining Table and Sweet Releaf Chairs, as well as the Clean and Green Fireplace.
The rosy counters gave us a strong pop of pink in the cooking area. Guests can chat with Persephone while she’s preparing meals as they perch on one of the White Wooden Stools at the island.
We created a relaxing seating area by the fireplace with a pair of Wicker Chairs and a Ballerina Television surrounding a bright Pink and White Swirl Rug. And separated from the lounge area by a handy Snack Sampling Station is a practical work area with a sturdy desk and chair.
I think Persephone will really be seeing the world through rose colored glasses when she works in this colorful kitchen, don’t you?

I think the floor is a bit much, too much going on there for me. :) But besides that it’s a really nice kitchen, and I’d love to have it!
Hey all you people who are not liking this room 100%, you can give this some tweaks to fit your own style! I mean come on and lets get creative! This is only like a blue print to help you get started. The counters and other appliances come in more than one color, just look in the WShop. They’ve got blues and greens of the same objects in most cases. Lets go back to being a creation nation! ;) :D

I love it, love it, love it!! :D :) I loved it so much that I bought a new room the very day I saw this and designed it to look almost exactly like this. It turned out great. Now I just have to invite my friends to come and see it! I’ll also have to post a pic of it in the Share Center for you all to see! Great inspiration for us Ganz! Thanks a bunch!! :D
