Dear Plumpy,
I’m so sad. My best friend is moving away in a month and I’m going to miss him SO much. My best friend is like my brother – he and I have been friends since we were babies (our moms are good friends). Everyone jokes and says that we could be twins – even though I’m a girl and he’s a boy. We’re just so similar! He’s moving right across the city – much too far to ride our bikes. What am I going to do without him?

Dear AL,
I’m so sorry to hear that your friend is moving. It’s a really, really hard thing to deal with. Especially if you’re as close as you and your BFF are.
Since you can’t stop him from moving, the best thing to do is to figure out how to best stay in touch – through email, snail mail, phone calls…and definitely arrange some time for you to see each other in person. Maybe you can take turns visiting each other every other weekend. Or maybe your families can get together and have dinner or go out someplace. Since your mom is good friends with his mom, they’ll probably see each other now and then – so maybe you can tag along and see your pal. Moving across the city may seem far, but the older you get, the more you’ll see people you know and love move across the province or state…across the country…and maybe even around the world! What matters is how much you care about the person, and that you stay in touch. Whether your BFF is right around the corner, or half an hour away, you and he can still be a big part of each other’s lives.
Love,
Plumpy
Great job, Plumpy! Whoever sent the letter SHOULD keep the friendship somehow. Friendship is Magic, after all! =)
Maybe they could arrange a time to meet in KinzWorld!
My BFF was like a sister to me. She was from Korea and I had to help her learn English. When she left I cried for days. I haven’t heard from her in over a year. The first weekend of June was when she left….
My best friends are my cousins. When they moved away we started a new tradition to keep in touch. We log into our Webkinz accounts and play together while we are talking so it is almost like they are still here! You can ask your parents for help to do this too.
I’ve noticed with all your sports themes that they always have general sports like soccer, basketball, football, and baseball. But how about adding lacrosse into the mix. Lacrosse is a very popular sport in middle school and grade school so it will be taken well with the Webkinz fans. So please add the amazing lacrosse to your sports and make some players very happy!!
Plumpy gives really good advice :)

I live in New Jersey, and a couple months ago, one of my friends moved all the way to Ohio!!! :( That is like a ten hour drive from where i am. My group of friends were really sad to see her go, but she might be coming to visit at some point! we miss her, but we all keep in touch with her. :)

Can I ask someone how you ask Plumpy a question???
I kind of know what you mean, i moved away from my old house when I was 5 years old. I miss my old neighbors. I miss my old backyard ( it was VERY BIG) I still go by it. You could go over to each others houses
Write back and forth, plan parties, stuff like that. :)
