Purr-Cilla’s Craft

PJ Collie was telling me about these amazing corsages and I figured I could make them myself. Check them out!

What you need:

Circle of felt (about five inches across), scissors, fabric glue, pencil, pin backing

What you do:

  1. Starting at the outside edge, draw a spiral on the circle of felt.
  2. Cut along the spiral.

3.  Starting in the middle, roll the felt up to make a rose, gluing the fabric as you roll.

See? Like this. Now roll it up from the middle!

4.  Make sure to glue the end of the felt and hold it in place until it dries a little bit.

5.  Glue the finished roses onto your pin backing. Leave them to dry. You can cut out a couple of leaves and glue those on before you glue on your roses, if you like.

6.  Display your finished rose corsages on pieces of cardstock. You can even get extra crafty like me and come up with a company name. I think I’m going to go with Purr-Cilla’s Purr-Fect Creations. Nice, right?

Nice craft, Purcilla. Using a thin glue to add sparkles along the sides or top would be a sweet addition. I will try this when I go to the craft shop to get some felt and pins.

    Keep craftin’ !!!!!!

Wow Purr-Cilla, that really is good. I like how it sparkles, and how you walked us through it. I hope to make these!! (I don’t care that Purr-Cilla made these, even she is nice sometimes, just she brags at the end…) Good luck to everyone who enters! :D
