Dear Diary,
You’ll never believe what happened today! My birthday party, the one that was supposed to be THE party of the year? Yeah. Not so much. All the kids from my school decided NOT to show up. Why? I think it’s because they’re jealous. Or maybe because Salley Cat turned them all against me.
Sigh. Actually, the real reason is probably that they think I’m mean.
And sometimes? I guess I probably am. But it’s not my fault! I just happen to be cooler than most of the kids in my school, and it’s hard to make friends with kids who are so…so…UN-cool.
So the only two kids who showed up at my party were Penelope and Janice. My besties. And can you imagine how embarrassed I was when no one else was there? Can you imagine? I told them that I didn’t even care. I said the party was canceled. I heard them leave a few minutes ago, so I guess it’s really over. The birthday that never happened.
Maybe if I’d been nicer to everyone, I’d be having the party of my dreams right now. Instead? I just feel really, really alone. Happy birthday to me.

I feel so sorry for you! I know that some comments say that you should be nicer, and I agree, but still…. at least all of us care about what happened to you. Hopefully next year, if you become nicer to people, they’ll want to be friends with you. And you can have your friend parties back. At least your best friends showed up. But, always keep in mind…. Treat others how you would like them to treat you.
your right purr-cilla. if you had changed your act, (not being mean, or bragging all the time.) mabye everyone, (exept the kinz.) would have showed up! even though its your birthday doesn’t mean you can act like that. :< i feel really bad though that your birthday turned out horible though. no one deserves to have a horrible birthday!
Purr-cilla. You should be ashamed of yourself for being so mean. maybe if you were nicer to the kinz, they would have come to your party and be your friend too. I hope you learned your lesson. and I hope you’ll be nicer to all the kinz.
FINALLY she learns a lesson. I hope someone shows up though, and that she doesn’t blow it again!
I agree with MDIchickadee 100%. Once you know how you apper to others, you will be a much better person. MDIchickadee, look at my post on Purr-cilla’s post before this. I wrote something to you.
Dear Purr-Cilla, Learning that as you are to others, others will be to you is a hard lesson. Especially when you think you are so great. I am sorry your day has gone awry. I hope it gets better. Purr-Cilla. Nobody cares how much the party costs and if you didn’t brag so much and only invite SOME of the kinz they would’ve shown up. Instead of trying to lure them into your trap. YEah, It kinda is your fault. It doesnt matter if theyre cool or not, it only matters if theyre nice, fun to be around, and you enjoy hanging out. Im sorry they didnt come, but it was your fault. :( I dont think its that hard to be a little nice Purr-Cilla. You’ll have lots of friends when you greet them, help them, and smile. Uh oh, Purr-Cilla!!! I’m sorry about that!!! I do this: Just don’t talk to the person you want to be your friend slowly and steadily start to sit down by them soon enough they will fall in love with something of yours and have to say something.
