Roberta, the Better Editor?

Okay, to take my mind off of my ultra-strict new teacher I decided I wanted to get involved with one of the extracurricular projects at school this year and I thought that the yearbook committee might be the thing for me. You know how much I love crafting, right? I was hoping that I could get on the art team for the yearbook and help lay it out, and choose pictures and images.

The only thing is that Booger is the editor this year and he’s got some pretty weird ideas. The theme that Booger wants to go with is ‘Anatomy of an Academy.’ What??? He says that he wants to do a section on each program in the school, like math, and science and history. He says that we can lay it out like a science lesson and have lots illustrations and pictures for each section, with labels like in a scientific diagram. But who is going to want to read an anatomy of anything? You know it’s just because Booger is into all that science stuff that he thinks that’s a good idea.

I really think I could do a better job editing the yearbook than Booger. I mean, I’m sure I could come up with a better theme than ‘Anatomy of an Academy.’

Sorry to hear that Roberta I personally think you would do a MUCH better job then Booger but it’s not up to me! :) hope all goes well! ~ CMR

I think Booger’s idea has great possibilities. I think it could work. SillyMissJSD had a idea that could incorporate both the art and science themes. Booger’s the editor, but if the two of you combined your talents you might have the best yearbook ever.

That would be great for you!!!!!!

Roberta, I think that you should just try going with it. However, you might want to suggest trying something that’s a little easier to read. After all, this is for the whole school to read and if a lot of kids have trouble understanding it you should tell Booger that you should try something new.

Roberta, you have so much ambition…maybe too much? I mean, Booger got the editor role first, so it’s his right. Just try again next year, Roberta. ♥

Wow- that idea does stink. I think that he is better suited for science clubs, NOT clubs that involve english. He is the science dude. NOT the english dude.

  7. SillyMissJSD says:

Actually – I think both ideas could work. What if you do each section of the yearbook in the style of its subject. Lay out the science pages like an anatomy lesson, the math pages like a graph, social studies could be a map or a timeline, english could be laid out like a poem or outline and the possibilities are incredible for the other subjects. It could be a lot of fun.

Remember, Booger is a boy, you have to make them think the idea was theirs or they will say no, know matter how good it is. jennifer

Well, Roberta, here’s what I think: get several other Kinz to make some sort of tournament-race-obstacle course thingy so you can verse Booger! Whoever wins gets to be editor! Me and my friends did that to see who would be leader of our club, and I won! My BFF is Secretary, my other BFF is Advisor, and my other friends are Food Treasurer, Fashioneista, and Fun Host. We made the club over the summer. The course itself was super fun! ~Phoenix~

I think I agree with you Roberta for once. Booger should think of what everyone else wants. Maybe you guys can take a survey on what the other Webkinz want, so you can make the yearbook what everyone would want. You can’t make a good year book for just super academic ‘Kinz, like you can’t do that with crafts either. Find a happy medium. :D -Moonstar◙◙◙

I took yearbook last year at my school and it was fun. Just sometimes it’s hard coordinating everything, but have fun! -AB

Roberta, you’re not thinking of Booger! He’s the editor, so he’ll choose the theme and everything else an editor does. Him, not you! But maybe you could ask him if both of you could be editors…this could be interesting: art and science together! ~Tiff

I’d say that both Roberta and Booger could be the editors. But like @Phoenix said, why not just get lots of Kinz to make some sort of obstacle, or something so you can verse Booger? That’ll be something that could work out, right? -CMFan4Ever❤
