This meeting has been called by Salley Cat to share our ideas to convince Ms. Cowoline that the Annual Halloween Parade through the school should go on this year, even though we lost a lot of learning time putting on the play last month.
Salley’s idea:
We should secretly pass the word around the school that everyone should just show up on Halloween in their costume and Ms. Cowoline will see that she has to let us hold the parade.
PROS: Everyone would get to wear their costumes.
CONS: We probably wouldn’t get to have the parade because Ms. Cowoline would be pretty mad and we would get in a lot of trouble for disobeying her.
Stoogles’ idea:
We should tell Ms. Cowoline that I suffer from a rare condition that requires me to dress up once a year and that I would feel more comfortable if all my friends supported me by dressing up as well.
PROS: Well, despite the fact that I think this is an awesome idea, apparently no one else seems to think so. HMPH!
CONS: Purr-cilla told me just to write “Too many to mention here.”
Purr-cilla’s idea:
We should pass around a petition and have every student sign their name to it, showing Ms. Cowoline how important the tradition is and maybe she can be persuaded to let us hold the parade.
PROS: This plan includes all the students in the school and doesn’t involve breaking any rules.
CONS: Despite Purr-cilla’s dismissal of MY great idea, I am big enough to admit that this idea doesn’t really have a downside, other than the fact that Ms. Cowoline may just say ‘no’, but that would just leave us back where we started anyway, so what do we have to lose?
Salley then called a vote and it was unanimous – Purr-cilla’s petition it is!

I thought that i would never say this, but im with purr-cila.
Hm… I actually have to agree with Purr-Cilla on this (although I dislike her). LOL we’re working on Pros and Cons in L. Arts LOL… well, not “working” working, but we did a work sheet on it.
Oh yeah.

i vote for salley’s idea. so now what do you guys think, huh? isn’t being sneaky a good thing?
I think I’ll go with Purr-Cilla’s idea because it goes well without breaking rules or anything bad like that.

Stoogles is my favorite. :)
Purr-cilla is tactless and conceited, but her idea is the best of the three. Still, I think Stoogles should get a reward for his creative thinking! ;-)
Maybe if Ms. Cowoline can see how important the parade is to the students, there can be a way to compromise – perhaps everyone could dress up for one of their lessons or something, so that there could be learning and a parade. I think it will take more than just everyone wanting to do the parade to get Ms. Cowoline to change her mind!
