Here’s a sweet idea for a treat to serve at Polly’s surprise party!

What You Need

-          Strawberries

-          Blender

-          Sieve

-          Ice pop moulds or cups

-          Plastic wrap

-          Wooden craft sticks

-          An adult helper

What you do

With the help of an adult, put the strawberries into a blender and blend until pureed. Using a wooden spoon, push through sieve into a medium bowl to remove seeds. Pour puree into ice pop moulds and stretch plastic wrap tightly over the top. Push a craft stick through the plastic wrap into each ice pop (the plastic wrap will help the craft sticks to stand up) and then place in freezer.

Let freeze overnight and then enjoy!

A sieve is a very fine mesh (similar to a colander) and is used to get out really small seeds like those found in most berries.

Matiepie, sieves are the bowls that have holes in them, so the can remove certain thing from a bowl, like if you have some noodles and water in a pot, and you want to get rid of the water, you just take the noodles and water, and poor it into the sieve, and you can get rid of the water without accidentally losing the noodles. they are really useful. P.S. add me as a friend, I am dragonrider525

Oh, so that’s what a Sieve is? I thought it was spices or something! But then, why’d you put spices in a Popsicle? ~CC~

Me and my little brothers and little sister (Patty is too little to use a blender or eat solid food) often make this over the summers. ♥

lol, i love how they put the strawberry on top of the popsicle. it makes it look as if the strawberry is on a skateboard… sorry, my imagination is too vivid these days… *Nightfire* ^..^

For removing the small strawberry seeds, a strainer works better than something with large holes.
