I’ve never heard the name puppy chow, someone told me it was called Monkey Munch. It’s really good, though. <3 it

The first time I tried Puppy Chow, my sis made it. Boy, was it delicious!
Definitely something you don’t want to have everyday, though, because of all the chocolate and powdered sugar.

Nice, but this is another copy of Chocolate Chex!

well, chocolate chex is a cereal, whereas you can have puppy chow as a snack by itself. i guess they are similar, but chocolate chex isnt coated in chocolate, just made with cocoa baked into it. also, chocolate chex doesnt have peanut butter or powdered sugar.

but what’s crispix? is it like chex? cuz i’ve only had puppy chow made with chex.

      • claire6land says:

        Oh, I just searched… It’s by Kelloggs.
Btw, I’m used to the recipe cause I’m allergic to chocolate chex! (I’m not allergic to chocolate, just the milk and yadeyada).

        • puppyluvver says:

oh, i see. can you have dark chocolate then? i think it has very little milk. if not, theres probably a kind of chocolate that doesn’t have the stuff you’re allergic to…maybe carob? i’m not sure, but i know that carob is like a chocolate that animals can have theomobrine, but not sure about milk. maybe you could find a chocolate subsitute and use that instead of chocolate :D

Those sound good! They have a very interesting name too! It would be fun to have them at a party and say to every one “Time for snack every body! Let’s have some puppy chow!” :D
