Sparky here with some pretty amazing news; I overheard my parents talking last night and I heard my mom say, “Oh, well it’s such a great idea to go on vacation for Thanksgiving. We’re going to have a wonderful time! The Tropical Island is gorgeous this time of year!” (And I wasn’t eavesdropping, by the way. I went to the kitchen to get some milk and they just happened to be talking in the living room, and I just happened to have excellent hearing and I might have perhaps put an empty glass against the wall to help amplify the sound a little.)
We’re going away for Thanksgiving? To the Tropical Island? I have one thing to say about that: AMAZING! I can’t believe my parents are keeping this big surprise from me! They’re so sneaky. I’ll try my best to look shocked when they do tell me. For now, though, I can’t wait to tell all my friends. They are going to be SO jealous!

Actually I just remembered Alex is April’s best friend not Sparky! Silly me! But Sparky and the other Kinz’ are supposed to meet April this Thanksgiving.
