What you need:
Paper towel tube

Markers

Thick paper (like cardstock)

Tape

Tissue paper

Glue

What you do:

1.       Decorate the paper towel tube.

2.       Roll up the piece of thick paper so it’s just a little bit smaller around than the paper towel tube. It should fit inside the tube, but not slide through it (it should be a tight squeeze).

3.       Tape the paper so it forms a tube.

4.       Put the paper tube into the paper towel tube.

5.       You can cover the tape with tissue paper.

You can pull out the paper tube to ‘extend’ your telescope!
