It’s Cowabelle.
I cannot believe what just happened. You know how I was trying out to be the Queen of the Easter Parade? Okay, nothing against Molly. I mean, she’s got that whole shouting thing down and all. But I have been practicing and practicing to play the role of the Queen and I really thought that I would do an awesome job! Oh – and I know Stoogles wanted to be King. I’m sure he’d be great but I swear – I was born to play this part!
Anyway, we were all doing our tryouts today. Molly had to bring Millie along because her mom had an emergency at work and had to deal with it. Molly and Stoogles had already auditioned, and I was right in the middle of doing this awesome spring dance that I had prepared, when I noticed that the judges weren’t even really paying attention. They were all looking at something over my shoulder. So I turn around and there is Millie, carrying a basket full of plastic eggs, twirling around and tossing eggs to everybody. The judges were laughing their heads off. Okay, people, I get it. Sure, Millie is adorable but we are trying to hold an audition here! Eyes on the prize!
But do you know what happened next? Ms. Birdy stands up before I even finished my dance number and announces that she thinks we have found our Queen. At first I was pretty pumped until I realized she wasn’t talking about me. She was talking about Millie! Millie is going to be Queen of the Easter Parade! She is like FOUR or something! She is clearly not ready for a responsibility like this! What are the judges thinking?
So sorry Cowabelle. Millie didn’t even try out. It’ll be hard for her to do the job,being so young. (*(*dragonfish*)*)
I know, totally unfair. You should talk to the judges that Millie didn’t even TRY OUT! She was just being all cutsie and all. This is totally unfair, Cowabelle. ♥
Aw! Millie’s going to be the star? Good for her! She would be best because everyone will realize how cute she is!
Ugh! Her little sister who doesn’t know exactly WHAT the Easter Bunny is, NOT Roberta! She would surely think it was my real pet Mini-lop, Sugar Puff! But at least it wasn’t the brat! Cowabelle is too spoilt and self-centered! Seriously! *~Ruchirock~*
Oh my! I am so sorry, Roberta. Sometimes those young cute things win out, I guess. I, too, wonder how Millie will do during the parade – maybe she will need help, and you can help her. We cannot win everything we attempt. I am certain you would have been great, but it is what it is. Be gracious and move on. All the best! MDIChickadee
I think that the circumstances will be that millie HAS to have someone who can be on the float with her, so she will be the easter princess and I think she will choose roberta as the person to be with her because she was acting funny, as if she were the easter bunny or one of his helpers!
Please Cowabelle dont be like that…keep your eye on the bigger purpose of why we have Easter…Everyone has special Quality/Talents about them and I think you all should show them off and then have the Easter Bunny on the last float throwing out packets of seeds to plant to everyone and make it an Awesome Day…
Wow. They didn’t even give Cowabelle a chance. And Millie didn’t even audition. Cowabelle should have been at least given a chance since they didn’t know, Cowabelle could’ve been better for Millie. Don’t worry Cowabelle, they’ll realize what they’re missing out on ;)
i feel sorry for cowabelle! that’s quite rude that the judges didn’t even take any notice of her dance she took ages to create! Yes Millie is cute, and would look really nice as the Queen, but Cowabelle tried much harder than Millie did even if she was a bit selfish!
I think Millie is too young to play that part. I think Molly or Cowabelle should have won that. We’ll see how the rest of the story goes!
IKR? ;-) It’s not fair – the judges didn’t even pay attention to Cowabelle’s dance!
