Crafty Critterz: Apple Pie Bed

What you need:

• Brown construction paper
• Yellow construction paper
• One round flying disk
• Black marker
• Red and yellow paint
• Tape
• Scissors
• White construction paper

What you do:

1.     Using the flying disk as a template, cut the yellow construction paper to fit inside the disk. Tape to the inside of the flying disk.

2.     Cut out the brown construction paper to look like a crown with three peaks and curing inwards toward the bottom. Tape to the outside of the disk to make head board.

3.     Cut out the brown construction paper into a half mustache and tape opposite of the “head board” to form the foot board.

4.     Using red paint, decorate the yellow construction paper with wavy lines and straight lines to resemble the top of an apple pie.

5.     Cut a circle out of the white construction and then cut the circle in half.

6.     Line the outside of the half circles with red paint; fill the inside with yellow paint. Allow to dry completely.

7.     Using the black marker, draw two little black seeds in each half circle.

8.     Tape each half circle to bed to make the pillows on the bed.
