Crafty Critterz: Clay Pot Bug

What you need:

  • Clay pot
  • Green paint
  • Fuchsia paint
  • Black marker
  • Wood bead
  • Green metallic pipe-cleaners
  • Wiggly eyes
  • Glue

What you do:

  1. Turn pot upside down and paint the clay pot green including the bottom, which will be the top part.
  2. Paint the wood bead fuchsia and let dry completely.
  3. Glue wiggly eyes to pot.
  4. Using black marker draw mouth on pot rim.
  5. Using the end of the paint brush handles, dot four dots on each side of the face with fuchsia paint.
  6. Cut one metallic pipe-cleaner in half, and wrap around the painted wood bead. Glue to top of the painted clay pot.
  7. Bend in half and glued in place, 6 Green metallic pipe-cleaners to bottom of clay pot to make the legs of the bug.

    I accidentally fed my Webkinz fish “fish and chips”! And… he liked it! Maybe they should take out foods that involve meat that is a webkinz, because he ate his own kind.
    P.S. I don’t like the bug that much.

        Hey, Scottiedog101! You can make this craft by using an egg carton! Just cut off one of the bulged parts (the part where the egg sits in) off of the bottom. Then, paint it any color you would like. Use a hole punch to make 6 or 8 legs. Then, cut a pipe cleaner and stick it into the holes. Add googly eyes and enjoy :) ! ~TC1
