What you need:
- Shoebox
- Cardboard
- Orange cup
- 4 wood skewers
- Tape
- Hot glue gun
- Scissors
- Printed Curio Shop sign
- Brown paint
- Marker
- White paper
- Glue
What you do:
- Paint the shoebox with the brown paint, let dry before moving on to the next spot.
- Next, cut out of cardboard an 8” x 6” rectangle and a 6” x 3” rectangle.
- Cut out of white paper a rectangle large enough to wrap around ½ of the orange cup. Then write “TIPS” with any color marker and tape to orange cup.
- Tape each wooden skewer to each the back corners of the shoebox.
- Glue the Curior Shop sign onto the 8” x 6” rectangle piece of cardboard. Stick 2 wood skewers through the top corners of the sign. Tape to secure.
- Having an adult help you, hot glue the wood skewers attached to the sign to the tops of the wood skewers attached to the shoebox.
- Fold a half inch down on the 6” x 3” rectangle. Hot glue the folder part to the front of the shoebox to make the counter. When dry, place the “TIPS” cup on the counter.
