Wowee, $2,000 to get the horse? O.o That’s a lot of money! ‘^^ I get why they have the rewards program, but two thousand dollars for any pet (especially a virtual) is rather steep ;P I don’t even spend that much on Webkinz plush a year, let alone estore items that only exist on the computer! Speaking of plush, though, it’s a real shame this beautiful horse was never made into a stuffed animal. I think Webkinz is kind of missing the mark on this one. I think most fans loved signatures because the plushies were realistic, high-quality, and totally photogenic. (Heck, if this pet were a plushie, I bet it would sell out almost immediately) I don’t think many people bought signatures purely for their virtual counterpart. But, that’s just my opinion.
I agree TaffyKitty. It makes me sad, we begged them to make a signature horse for years & they never did a plush. And now this, which few players will be able to afford.
I am NOT a fan of this “Rewards” program. I can understand the 1st Tier prize, The Pet Medallions, but after that? No way. I try not to spend more than $200.00 a year. This is money I have sat aside just for this game. I’m not going to spend $2000.00 in one year just to get the “reward” prizes. They aren’t worth it.
What I do like about the program is that it’s truly an extra. You can play the game just fine without it. There are some games that in order to really be able to get ahead in them you have to ‘coin’ the game. My husband used to play one that he liked but it became obvious when he got to a certain point that in order to advance he would have to invest real money into it….a considerable amount from what I could tell…and that just wasn’t going to happen. He still has a good time playing Minecraft with our son, so all is well!
Great point nanamama12
Well said.
The dress and the horse are so beautiful!! The hot air balloon is amazing!!
Last year our family reached the second tier and we were happy to receive bonuses. I’m grateful to any costumers who reach the upper tiers and to everyone who plays on the game. A robust, thriving community ensures the continuation of the game everyone loves to play.

Hmm…. I think I’ll just make a donation to MDA. I’ll feel better.
That is actually a really great idea! Good idea Eilish!
That’s quite a jump between tier 3 and tier 4. I wonder if more would try it if the gap between the two was smaller, like 1,000 or 1,250 for tier 4? I actually got to tier 3 last year, mostly because of playing catch-up from missing a few years away from the game, but tier 4′s price is SO much more, it never crossed my mind to keep going and try for it.
I didn’t really pay that much attention to it, but you make a good point. Perhaps put another Tier in between and make it a 5 Tier program? I personally don’t invest that much, however over the course of a year I do buy myself some points for my birthday and for really special items or pets that I would like to have.
Last year, I did not spend thousands but got some pretty nice rewards: pet medallions, 5000 eStore points, 1 month Deluxe membership, and an Up-and-Away float!
Lucky are the folks who have $2000.00 to spend on virtual items!!
I agree with everyone else. I get it, but I don’t think you’re going to get many takers
Most likely not for the upper tiers, but a great many will end up getting at least to Tier#1. I managed Tier#2 and was quite content with that.
Mayor Sophie. These are great prizes and all, but i have to say that i agree with everyone else in the comments. Even though we might be complaining, no one actually wants to spend that much money on stuff like this. We need that much money to be spent on important things in REAL life. I’m not trying to be mean, and i understand that you guys need REAL money in order to keep going with this amazing game, but maybe you guys should reconsider your over-board prices. Thank you.
