In parenthesis is the year that the item was introduced, so that you can see that the items in the picture are not the only items you can potentially receive. You could get items that are over a DECADE OLD.
I believe calling these ’2021 Spring Mystery Bags’ is MISLEADING. The year 2021 communicates the idea that you are buying something that is current and new. The word ‘spring’ communicates they will contain items that are typically considered spring.
The websites says, “Start your spring in style with this marvelous mystery bag! You’re sure to find something sensational for the season!” Now to be fair, it does say you’ll find something sensational for the season, in the singular tense. BUT starting your spring in style with a mystery bag, to most customers insinuates you are going to find seasonal items commonly associated with spring. i.e. pastel colored items, spring flowers, eggs, white items, etc.
The mystery bags will include one new item (like the ones shown in the post), but you also have the chance to receive random eStore items or even past prizes from other mystery bags in them. The extra items are just bonuses that come along with your new item. They are randomized, so only the new items have to do with the season :)

All of these items are tradable!
The older items are not tradeable or sellable but the new 2021 items are.
I want these but my mom wont spend any money on a video game to buy points :(
10,000KC is an awful lot for not knowing what’s inside! I would buy a lot of the items but not blindly pay that much for a chance!
i dont think the pool or octopus items are programmed in. at least not for pre-release. i bought well over 50 bags and none of those items. i am wondering if they have no been programmed in or if the pictures are a mistake
So many of these beautiful items I would gladly spend lots of points on! but not just on a chance.
Why are webkinz cottages so much smaller these days?
The Rainbow Wading Pool reminds me of the exclusive item Wading Pool with the red, yellow and blue trim that’s now retired. I lost mine when I first started playing again, because I thought it was a W-Shop item so I sold it. I still get mad at myself for being so impulsive and not knowing what I was doing since it can’t be replaced.
I like enough of these (even the rugs and windows which is all I ever seem to get) that I may buy a few. Have to check the bank account (still feels weird to say that vs “ask mom”)
@ferretfuzzbut I was watching for Ganz to post about these bags because I got one in the pre-sale last month, and I wanted to be able to help people avoid the feelings of disappointment I have felt. And it sounds like you might not have money to burn is if it still feels weird to not be asking mom. BUT I thought the same thing about liking enough of the items. AND I’ve only been playing for 6 months, but I was under the assumption that these were the items that I could get. I feel like up until now Ganz has seemed to do a great job showing what items will be found in the winter cookies, the white chocolate eggs, & the ?? boxes. But I believe Ganz is misrepresenting what you might get in these 2021 Spring Mystery Bags. They do not clearly state that you may also get pretty much any item ever offered in the estore that may or may not have anything to do with spring. (See my other post for the items I got, which 4 of them were from 2013 & earlier…one was a sushi stool?! ) These are items you will not be able to trade.
*Some of the Spring Breeze line of items are tradeable, so if money is tight you might want to consider the trading room, or other forums where people are trading. I hope this is helpful and saves you from the regret I feel.
There are hundreds of potential items that you can receive in addition to these new items. It would be ungainly to have an article that showed everything. I’ve deleted part of your comment because it was advising something that is against our user agreement.
I started playing when I was too young to know anything ( and long before estore was even a twinkle in Ganz’s eye). I know that the Mystery bags are a big gamble. I have gotten them in the past (usually as gifts) and I felt disappointment but it was because I KNEW I would only get one GOOD item and it is most often the least valuable and least sought after item and so it is difficult to trade (which is why I am now afraid of the trading rooms). I know about the old items and although they say they are random, I seem to get a lot of duplicates and you can’t trade them so they just sit in one of my many “items I can do nothing with” rooms. I have gotten lucky in the past so I will still gamble if I like 3/4 or more of the items
Not really if the article is overall misleading and doesn’t say that you get decade old items. All items should be listed. Not happy with my bag I got.

@Trinster they are all awesome items for sure! And if you are someone who tends to have good luck, by all means go for it. I have heard a couple people who are very happy with items they got. But my other comment lists the items I got, and just beware you could get items over a DECADE old.
Yeah, 10,000 is a LOT to spend….
