Thanks but no thanks… I always get duplicates of the items that I am not even interested in. The mystery bags and boxes are a waste for me. I would rather use my eStore coins to purchase actual items that I know I want and/or need.
I love all of these, and would love to be able to spend a ton of ePoints to get them. However…I won’t be getting any of them. I don’t like getting an item from one design, and a different design from another. I could justify spending ePoints on one set of costumes, but not, when I don’t know what I’m getting. :-( Sending my Webkinz love and lots of good luck for all the players that love the element of surprise. :-) The Sinister Sister outfits are AMAZING, and I would love to have them…IF I could get them with ePoints, or….even better…KinzCash! :-)
I agree with you alucard. I’m never lucky enough to get all pieces to even 1 of the possible costumes. Just a random assortment of pieces that don’t go with anything else I have and I have tons and tons of clothes. I have the same problem with the room theme boxes. If I buy 10 boxes, trying to get all 6 items in the theme I usually end up with at least 5 of the same item and double or triples in the other boxes. I will no longer buy any themes that I have to try to collect the pieces buying random boxes and I rarely buy mystery bags of any kind because I have never been able to complete even 1 outfit that way and I’ve been playing since 2008.
Thank you for sharing your experiences. It makes me even more sure of my personal ban on buying mystery anything. I am extremely careful with my eStore points (they don’t grow on trees!) I try to wait for big sales and spend them sparingly on those items that I have been wanting for a long time, rather than impulse buying. I wish that more of the cool items were offered for sale outright rather than in a mystery capsule or box. I guess as long as there are players willing and able to buy the mystery items, Ganz will keep selling them.
