They usually have them on sale half priced at the beginning. So probably the 9th for that.

Nice! I have a quick question about the Deluxe monthly gift boxes—it’s May 6th and I haven’t received my May box. Is it because my Deluxe membership ends on May 16th?
Yes. If this is your renewal month, you won’t receive a gift box until you renew

They are always on sale the day after Christmas for 50% off, too late now though
It’s not too late. They do half off on black friday, new years and the black friday in May. I doubt it will be different this year.
They have the Webkinz memberships on sale for 50% off on Black Friday in November, January 1st and during Webkinz Black Friday in May, so they will probably have memberships off on May 9th for 50% off. That Cute Green Velvet Fox will be a nice addition to any Webkinz Fam

Hi @iamboxed. I definitely feel your sticker shock. The difference is that Mayor Arte’s prices are in KC, and the eStore is real $$. I honestly can’t see Mayor Arte getting re=elected, as so many players are disappointed with his promises. It is May 6. For me, it is day 49 without ever finding a single piece of the new rare Art Deco theme. I have started tipping Arte to try to get a heads up. The only rares that I’m spotting are all the old ones of which I already have multiples. I think I’m going to keep a log to chart when and if I ever get this promised new theme. For the record, I didn’t vote for Arte, but when he was elected, I thought that I would make the best of it. But I can’t make lemonade without the lemons. LOL!
I wish I hadn’t voted for Arte! Really disappointed in him! I can understand the high prices in the Curio Shop, as even in the real world, Antique shops will over price some items they sell. But, this is supposed to be a FUN game to play. Not match what is going on in the real world! My least favorite thing Arte does is the constant repetition of items on the various Wheels. Tired of food being a prize! It’s so disappointing to see a prize on one of the Wheels that you really want or need, and to end up getting just 20KC or, worse yet, food! I wish they would also stop putting the Pet Medallions on Wheels as a prize! We have the Floating Medallions, so why do we need them on the Wheels??? :-/

Like you kalcan8, I didn’t vote for Arte, but was hoping for the best. I do know the difference in the money thing, but I still have to have something in either account to spend LOL If I find some lemons, I’ll send some :)
I am disappointed also about the Art Deco theme. I bought a room for all the items and it is too bare! I did buy the wall and coffeetable though.
