When you add the Monarch Butterfly to your family of Webkinz pets, you’re sure to treat them like royalty! This wonderful winged creature is a sight to behold, due in part to their keen fashion sense, so make sure you store away some of those fabulous fashions inside their Monarch Wardrobe! And to keep those wonderful wings fluttering, a light snack like Goldenrod Honey Tea should do nicely!

I’m glad that a Monarch is finally coming to Webkinz World, but also feel down… My Monarch was a finalist in the Pet Design contest but lost to White Cosmic Wolf :(

But it’s neat that they ended up using your idea! My Zen Pekingese also lost to the White Cosmic Wolf, but maybe they’ll make a pekingese sometime! And they did end up making a Holiday Puppy (which was another one of the pets I entered) and a Puggle Puppy (which I entered in the design a dog contest). It’s nice when your ideas get turned into real pets; congrats!

The eStore team does not review pet design submissions, and they plan for their pets months in advance. It is a coincidence.
Sorry Sally, I wasn’t trying to suggest my idea was stolen (I don’t own Monarchs). Just of course would have been nice if my design was chosen :) But still happy I can finally get a Monarch! Thank you all :)
I can’t finish challenges because I’m a free player and not deluxe!! Please fix this!! I don’t understand why I have challenges which I would need to be deluxe to finish…
They do some Deluxe challenges that Deluxe players can do but everyone can see… to try to get more people to be Deluxe.
Depends on the challenge @shreyag. I know there are some challenges that ask for Deluxe only foods or games (there’s one that needs the Fool’s Gold Chocolate, which can only be won on Vacation Island). For the chocolate, I’d ask in the trading room or trading forum. Someone might me nice enough to send you one. :) For the games, your best bet would be wait until it’s Game of the Day. Then everyone can play it, and you’ll just have to make sure to get enough KinzCash to fulfill the challenge that way. And of course, if you’re talking about the Deluxe monthly challenges, those one you have to be Deluxe to complete.

Do you need to complete a Deluxe event, or do you just need an item? IE: do you need to feed your pet ‘fool’s gold chocolate’? If so, a deluxe member might be able to help you.

A monarch sounds cute.. but uh.. not gonna lie. Those eyes and the huge body to wing ratio are kinda creepy to me.. ‘XD
LOVE this Monarch Butterfly! They are my favorite of all the butterflies! I don’t really “NEED” another pet right now, but…I just MIGHT have to get this one! I do wish the virtual pets were not so expensive, as in costing too many eStore points. I may wait a while before I get it. Maybe wait for a “sale” in the eStore? ;-) Ha!

Ganz typically makes items that go with pets they’ve recently released. Just like they had the tulip items this month for the pony, maybe they’ll make some butterfly items for June.
It’s nice! Not really into the insect/bug Webkinz though!
