The Noble Elk arrives in Webkinz World, September 1, 2019!

The Noble Elk is one magical and majestic animal that’s a sight to see! Their mighty antlers are almost as impressive as the tiered towers of their Magic Elven Fountain! When they are hungry, keep them feeling fit and healthy with the balanced nutrition of an Ancient Grains Salad!

You may find this pet and more at both W-Shop and Ganz eStore!

This pet looks stunning! I love the colors to it. It’d be nice if they made the White Cosmic Wolf and this guy actual plushes for the new pets.

SALLY Off subject LAG in loading I made my puter work closer to fixed by REINSTALLING JAVA it was an update so I tried it since sometimes it only causes trouble. BUT It worked and FIXED SOME of the loading issues not all I still have to clear history quite often and I only had to reload 1 time instead of 4 times. I help family with accounts .

Btw the psi is super cool!

Wow this pet is so amazing! Too bad it’s e-store only. The design is definitely simple enough to use on a plush. I hope they bring back plush soon!

In ‘The Hobbit: Battle of the Five Armies’, Legolas’ father, Thranduil rode a majestic elk, so I think that might make a good name. I can’t find the name of that elk anywhere, just that it was thought to be a ‘megalocerous’, a huge ancestor of the current elk. And that tree reminds me of the magical looking white tree in ‘Gondor’ in ‘The Lord of the Rings’. So, all that to say, ‘Well done!’ Ganz design team LOTR fans! Whether intentional or unintentional, it is greatly appreciated!

    • Beckinz8 says:

Sorry. ‘Megaloceros’, no “u” – also know as the ‘Irish Elk’ or the ‘Giant Elk’. I like that the WW ‘Noble Elk’ is pale in color, just like Thranduil. (Yes, I am utterly and unashamedly a Tolkien geek!) ;-)

I’m a Tolkien geek, too….but in general, not actually LoTR and the Hobbit themselves (although I have always wanted to be but just can’t seem to get it to click for me yet. And I have been trying for um, decades.) So you may be wondering how I can be a Tolkien geek but it is still possible. (However I am a thoroughly unashamed geek of other varieties and flavors.) But what inspired me to comment though is I am currently on book 5 of a series by James A Owen, The Chronicles of the Imaginarium Geographica, and oh wow, if you are not already aware of them, you should track them down and check them out! For the Tolkien connections alone. You might love them. A lot. So detailed. I find they do drag here and there, but so many little Easter eggs of all sorts of literary references, Tolkien’s and many many others. And he is subtle with! They’re slick and just …there…not intrusive; they are a joy to discover. (I have an acquaintance who has pretensions for this and his are always set up like freaking Burma Shave signs to show there is a joke ahead…and then a neon one after, like “did you get it, did you, lemme ‘splain it to be sure”, and they are painful.) The first book is Here, There Be Dragons (And I admit, knowing nothing about them and going into it cold — he had me at dragons. But so glad I got them all!) Aaand now I have to geek-search a good name for my future elk.

Hi Beckinz8, wow you read my every thought. I also am a LOTR fan. My faves are all the elves, including Haldir. LOL I watch the Thranduil vid every week. It’s set to Remember Me for Centuries It’s perfect. I have tons of pets with LOTR related names. I can see my new elk as Thranduil, easy peasy. Haha Take care. DF

*hi-fives* Haha, I had no idea you loved all of this stuff. I’ll guess that you like Star Wars, too… if I’m wrong, I’ll turn to the dark side. NOOOO!!! MY HAIR IS BLACK!!! Oh wait… it’s naturally black… I’m naturally on the dark side… “HEY LUKE, GUESS WHAT? I’M YOUR FATHER!!!” (There are drawings of Pinkie Pie as Darth Vader, and that’s what Andrea Libman said in Pinkie’s voice, haha) But ohhhh… Samwise Gamgee, Hans Solo, Draco Malfoy, and I could name more… who is the Master of Laketown…?

        • dogfish says:

MLP every time I see your user, it reminds me that I have tons of unopened ponies in my house. Happy to say I have more webbies than mlp’s . I am a huge Lit geek. I already have a pet named after The Master of Laketown, ROFL. It’s a tux cat named Jeeves. He lives with Bertie. LOL (also a tux cat, wearing a fez) I named all those Kiwi birds after Hobbits. I like Star Wars, but TBO it’s my Dad’s thing. haha Never touch his dolls/figures. May the force be with you. DF

          • MyLittlePony2010EG13 says:

Haha, you do? I always open my MLPs. XD I have sooo many. I mean, 1/2 of my stuff are My Little Pony related, hahaha. Oh really? I’m just the opposite. XD I haven’t counted all of my ponies, but I know I have more than my Webkinz. You are? That’s awesome!! =D Haha, that’s awesome that you named a pet after him. Most of my pets that are named after Marvel series are from the Avengers and one DC ones. (Steve Froggers, Diana Prints, and I want to get the Harmony Puppy and name her Pepper Potts/Stark! And Carol Danvers, Natasha Romanoff, AND OH I COULD NAME MORE. Captain Marvel is my favorite superhero!) Haha, Jeeves sounds awesome and so does Bertie. XD You did? That sounds awesome!! XD I can imagine all of the Kiwi Birds as Hobbits in some small village, haha. I named my Kiwi Bird Waldo (After Blueberry Muffin’s Banana in Strawberry Shortcake. It was in the cupcake episode. She was exercising Waldo, haha(Actually dragging him around)) So do I! *turns Star Saber off* LOL, I won’t. XD Yeah, may the force be with you. ~MLP *Hops on some dragon from HTTYD and flies away*
