Since it’s such a unique event to have a pet you own retire, I think you should be able to do the retirement event once per account/pet whenever you want, not just on a specific weekend. I am always so sad when I miss out. Sometimes people just aren’t able to get on certain days and after buying a pet and playing with it for years, you really want to celebrate it’s retirement:)
