Plumpy’s Bad News
Dear Cousin Ruby, You’ll NEVER believe what I found out today – something TERRIBLE happened to my bridesmaids’ dresses. Know how they’re supposed to be a lovely light pink? Well, it turns out that someone left them in the dye too long. And now? They’re NEON pink! I can’t believe it. Persephone must have apologized a hundred times. It wasn’t her fault, of course. Just a mistake one of her assistants made. But…oh, Ruby. I don’t know what I’m going to do if Persephone can’t make new dresses in time for the wedding! I suppose worse things could happen…but hopefully they won’t! I promise to do my best to make sure you’re not wearing neon pink to my wedding. Love, Plumpy
Robert Rabbit’s Office Makeover
Elwin here with another fantastic transformation in the Rabbit house. We started with a totally empty room. Robert Rabbit told us he’d like us to make him an office. So we did! Check it out: Now THERE’S a room that looks official! Robert LOVED the new desk, the beautiful open-air feeling of the wallpaper, the wooden floors and the area for resting and enjoying a carrot or two. If you could have anything in your ideal office, what would it be?
Planning Polly’s Party
So I was meeting with the ‘Kinz today and I told them all that Polly’s birthday was on the 28th and they were just as excited as I was! They all want to help me plan her party! I didn’t mention that Polly said that she didn’t want a party, because really, who doesn’t want a party? So all the ‘Kinz said that they would help me with the party! Stoogles says he is going to choose the tunes for the party and Roberta said she would craft the invitations and some decorations. Cowabelle and Sparky are going to make the cake and Alex said that he will help Roberta put the decorations up. I am going to get cooking and make loads of food for the party. This is going to be so much fun. Polly will be so thrilled!
Molly Finds Out Something About Polly
Hi! It’s Molly and I just found out something I never knew before! I’ve always wondered when Polly’s birthday was but she has never told me. Whenever I asked she would always just change the subject. But I was over at her house for dinner and Polly’s mom said that Polly’s birthday is coming up on May 28th! That is just around the corner! I was so excited! I told Polly that we could have a big party but she said she didn’t want that and just to forget about her birthday. Forget about a birthday??? How is that even possible? Polly cannot be serious. Everybody likes a big party on their birthday, right?
A Special Treasure Box

So since the baby is going to be here in a matter of months (eek!), I thought I might make him or her something special: a treasure box! Parents like to keep all sorts of mementos from when their babies are small, so I figured my parents would be happy to have something like that for my brother or sister. What you need: Kleenex box or shoe box, packing tape, fancy paper, craft glue, decorative items, plain paper, marker What you do: If you’re using a Kleenex box, cut about an inch and a half from the top, all the way around to make a lid for the box. Leave one long side uncut (this is the hinge). If you’re using a shoe box, use packing tape to tape one long side – this is the hinge. Decorate your box with the fancy paper. Use the craft glue to stick it to the box. Decorate the lid with all kinds of neat stuff: shells, rocks, stickers, felt shapes – whatever you like! Attach your plain piece of paper to the lid of the box and write “Treasure Box” on it. Present the box to your parents (or whoever it’s for).
Roberta’s Mom’s Office
Roberta’s mom, Rosemary, has a very successful sewing business. From clothes to puppets, she pretty much sews it all. She also loves to paint. She works from home, so she really needed a space to call her own. She said she used to take over the dining room table. Not anymore! Hailey and I created the ultimate office for a busy business-rabbit.
Mother’s Day in Kinzville
Ella McWoof here with a special report for Mother’s Day. Today I am interviewing some Kinzville residents to find out how they are honoring their moms on this special day. Ella McWoof: Here’s young Sparky Fact. Sparky, would you like to tell us what you are doing for your mom today? Sparky: Sure! I made my mom the coolest gift this year. I was helping my Uncle Arte out in the mines a couple of weeks ago, when I found this really cool, shiny rock. Uncle Arte said that it wasn’t really a valuable rock but I thought it was really pretty so I decided to make a necklace out of it and my mom loved it! Ella: That’s really cool, Sparky! I see you’re with Alex. Alex, can you tell us what you are doing for your mother for Mother’s Day? Alex: I made my mom breakfast in bed this morning and then I cleaned up the kitchen all by myself. And tonight my dad and I are taking my mother out for dinner. Ella: Here is Cowabelle. Cowabelle, how is Ms. Cowoline enjoying this Mother’s Day? Cowabelle: Well, I saved … Read more

Purr-Cilla’s Awesome Party
Dear Diary, Guess what? Remember how I figured my birthday was over and the party wasn’t going to happen? Well, surprise! Penelope and Janice saved the day. After I told them to forget about the party, they went to the park and started rounding up the kids. They told them about all the fun stuff I had planned, and told them that they could bring any friends they wanted to my house. And they did! SO many kids started arriving. I couldn’t believe it! And even though none of them had a gift for me, I didn’t even care. I just wanted guests. And then guess who showed up? The ‘Kinz. PLUS Salley Cat. And you know what? She brought salsa. And it was actually really good. We all played games and ate TONS of ice cream and pizza and just had an all-around great time. So what have I learned? Not to be so hard on everyone. And not to exclude kids to make other kids feel jealous. And that a party is WAY more fun if you’ve actually got guests. Now it really is a happy birthday to me! -Purr-Cilla
