You want to start by going to muzzle mouth mine or howling horseshoe mine. those have the best gems. Spiders next to a sparkle is a good sign but wait for 3 sparkles then mine

  Maybe that has worked for you, but it doesn’t for me. I have done that many times, and no gems. I just rotate between all of the gem mines.

  Most gems can be found in multiple mines. However, the rares can only be found as follows: White in Buried Bones; Red in Muzzle Mouth; Green in Flea Floater; Blue in Howling Horse; Yellow in Barking Mad. Hope this helps. Good luck with your collection!
