So Elwin and I are up at the ski resort and we’ve started decorating some of the guest rooms. We wanted to keep a similar color scheme between the bathroom and bedroom but still let each room stand on its own.
We went with a cool base for the first room. We used the Winter Season Kinzville Wallpaper to start with and I thought the Beach House flooring would look really nice with the cool tones. We used the Winter Wonderland Bed and complimented the cool tones with the neutral Tri-Mirror Mocha Dresser.
Of course, in a ski resort a fireplace in the room is a must and we included a comfy Stasis Sofa as well as an Animal Print Ottoman to add a bit of style.
For the bathroom we chose to go with purple tones to go along with the blues of the bedroom. We paired Purple Paint with the Bloomin’ Flooring. The Spa Theme looks lovely against purple so we used the Spa Steam Shower and Gathered Under Glass Side Table.
In the corner we placed a Sultan’s Settee to add a dash of flair and we used the Mosaic Mirror Set over the sink.

this is terrible. i could of done better, i think haily and elwin have lost their touch! a fancy couch in a bathroom?!? a winter bed!?! it clashes so much! the shower is too big, and it dosen’t look like a ski resort at all!
I think it looks nice, but I agree with some of the comments – a ski lodge should have a more log cabin-y feel :) At least that’s what I’ve always seen. I do love the flooring of the room though!

I like the bedroom but the bathroom looks out of place in a ski resort. I think Hailey and Elwin could have done better for the bathroom.
I am not sure what these rooms are but they aren’t like any ski resort I have seen. It looks as though Hailey and Elwin were clearing their dock and using whatever happened to be there.
