Well, readers, I hate to alarm you but my little brother Reid STILL has a runny nose. Obviously it was time to take some serious action. My mother didn’t seem to appreciate just how serious this is so I decided to take matters into my own hands. My mom asked me to keep an eye on Reid while she did some shopping so I took him to see Dr. Quack.
I put him in his stroller and we headed over to Dr. Quack’s office. As soon as we got there I noticed that, despite the face he was smiling and laughing Reid’s face was bright red. I knew he must have been really sick.
Dr. Quack was surprised to see me – my mom usually makes an appointment first, but I told him it was an emergency. I explained about the sniffles and then I pointed out that Reid’s cheeks were bright red. Dr. Quack said that my cheeks were red too and that it probably had more to do with us walking out in the cold than with being sick.
But he agreed to look at Reid. He took his temperature and looked in his ears and his eyes and his mouth (Reid kept giggling – poor baby didn’t realize how sick he was) and he listened to Reid’s heart with a stethoscope.
Afterward he said that I was a very responsible sister to take such good care of my little brother. Then he went in his desk drawer and pulled out a handful of what looked like lollipops. He told me that they were special medicine for Reid, and that I could let him suck on these special lollipops for a few minutes each day as long as I made sure to brush his teeth afterward. He said in a few days Reid should be as good as new. Then he winked at me and said he would see me at my next check-up.
See, readers? I knew it. I knew there was something really wrong with Reid. Thank goodness I took him to the doctor and got the special medicine. I don’t know what is in these lollipops but they must really be making Reid feel better because he seems to just love them.

oh Roberta
:)
ROFL! Is Roberta really a teen? – PuMpkiN SpiCe
Ya there is a flu going around.
I am surprised I thought it would be flu because where I live there is a BIG flu going around
It’s clear you love your little brother, Roberta – but your mom is the authority. She is the parent. I hope Reid’s sniffles don’t get worse because of the cold walk to Dr. Quack’s.
Dr. Quack is a very good Doctor. Reid didn’t need any medicine, but, Roberta did. He gave Roberta the o.k. not to worry without telling her she had nothing to worry about. Mary
Oh boy….. In real-life a normal 12-13 year old wouldn’t act like that. Doesn’t she realize that those “special” lollypops are just candy?
That’s funny…Roberta thinks the “special” lollipops have medicine in them, which they probably don’t and Reid likes them because they are candy!! ~Smiley Face :)
I know right? Plus, you shouldn’t give little kids lollipops. ESPECIALLY babies. I know from experience. . .(: A real 12+ year old should be smarter than this to not only doubting her mother, but going out to the doctors? Don’t you need an adult for that anyway? Wow. (:
This makes me feel insulted. I’m younger than that, and geez! She is not acting like a 12-11-13 year old or however old she is.
I know I mean if shes that old she should know that its just candy
yes
Seriously? ? ? ? ? ? ?
Who agrees with me?
I do! And everytime I take a trip 2 Dr. Quack he just says my animal needs more sleep and a bunch of usless stuff. My pet was REALLY sick (not even joking) And when I looked at his picture he had an ice pack on his head and his cheeks were all green. I feed him some vitamans and put him to sleep in the guest room with the really, really fluffy & soft pillow bed. P.S. nO JOKING!
Yeah!! that happened to Soccer-Cat-Kaylie my pet was sick and doctor quack did not care :( but my pet was only sick ones so i will not make a BIG deal about it – puppylover100
My pet got sick one time, looked exactly as you described took her to him, he offered me medicine, bought it from him fed her it, she was better right away, Dr. Quack must have some good medicine!
oh roberta you worry too much it’s just the sniffles and i know he’s a baby and needs care but when YOU get the sniffles do you go to dr.quack
Actually, if a real rabbit has the sniffles (ie. sneezing and runny nose) they need IMMEDIATE vet care… but being they humanize animals on Webkinz which I don’t mind ;) it was supposed to be just a cold…
NO WAY? REALLY???? HOW DO YOU KNOW THAT ?? DO YOU HAVE BUNNYS??
