Nibbles again. I had a great idea to bring Janice and my other friends together. I decided to plan a spa day at my house. Doesn’t that sound like fun? We can all wear our robes, and do face masks and paint each others’ toenails! I’m going to make some yummy snacks for us to share.
I thought this would be the perfect way to break the ice, but Janice didn’t sound that excited when I told her. She thinks that none of my other friends will like her because she is a friend of Purr-Cilla’s. She pointed out that Laurabeard didn’t exactly warm to her at the beginning of the year.
I told her not to worry about it. I think everyone will be fine. It’s going to be so much fun!

That sounds like a fun plan, just be careful your pets don’t eat the avocado masks, or the cucumbers….let’s just say I know from experience.

Like shoshoneno1, I hope everyone will attend the evening with a positive attitude. It’s easy to jump to conclusions and let our imaginations run away with us – that this person or that one will be disliked or snubbed. I hope everyone goes intending to have a good time and then lets the evening develop from there.
I’d tell my other friends that I invited Janice. I’d also tell Janice a little something about each of the others so she feels comfortable talking to them. Just don’t be upset if Janice hangs with you all night and the others get a bit jeolouse. It’ll work out if everyone trys. jennifer
