Wow. I do not believe this. Last year I went away to stay with my dad for Christmas and Stoogles raised a stink about it because I wouldn’t be spending Christmas here in Kinzville. So this year, when my mom and Dad and I were all together at Thanksgiving, we talked about it and decided that this year I’d stay with my mom, and I would go to my dad’s house for New Year’s.
I went over to Stoogles’ house today to tell him the good news. When he answered the door, I was about to tell him, but couldn’t get a word in edgewise because he suddenly started blabbering about this big ski trip he and his family were taking over the holidays. He was so excited about it he wouldn’t stop talking long enough for me to tell him anything, let alone my plans. After he went on and on about his trip non-stop he announced that he couldn’t hang around because he and his mom were going shopping for new clothes for the trip. Then he says “See ya later!” and shuts the door in my face. Just like that.
I mean, man, it’s not like I don’t want Stoogles to go away with his family. That’s great that they are going on a trip. But after he gave me such a guilt trip about going away last year, the fact that he didn’t even consider that I might be a little hurt didn’t occur to him really got to me.
You know, Stoogles is a great friend but sometimes he can be a bit thoughtless.
Salley, you can hangout at my place for Christmas. Just reply to my comment and we can get things arranged :D
I must admit. Stoggles was beging a bit, abrupt, with his good bye. He must be really excited. However, I agree with Sally. Sally came to Stoggles house, not vice versa. Oh well, I wish you luck!
I heard that stoogles is mad at you for not being interested in his ski trip! Talk to him! Make up! Do SOEMTHING!
How typical of Stoogles. Salley, you have a lot of other, kinder friends. If I were you I’d spend more time with them.
