It’s Roberta again and I have some very bad news to report. Remember the other day I told you about how Reid had a runny nose? Well, last night, I was sitting outside his bedroom door (just in case he needed me) and I heard him cough!
I told my mother we had to take him straight to Dr. Quack. She went into Reid’s room and checked on him. Despite the worrying cough I had just heard, he seemed to be sleeping soundly, but his nose did sound very congested when he breathed.
But do you know what my mother said? She told me I had to relax! She said he probably just coughed a bit because his nose was stuffed up and he had to breathe through his mouth. You know, I thought my mom was a wonderful mother, but I am really questioning her parenting skills right now. I mean, first it’s the sniffles, now it’s a cough! What next?

Awwwww I really hope he feels better :(
Baby dont worrie, about a thing. Because every little, is gunna be alright.
Roberta, Roberta. Reid’s not going to die. When I was a month old, I got whooping cough and stopped breathing. But they got me on oxygen and I have lived to tell the tale. I honestly don’t think it’s going to come to that, especially since Reid was born healthy. I also whacked my head on a bathtub and had a concussion when I was one. My parents are great parents, they homeschool us, even. It wasn’t their fault I got sick, and it’s not your Mom’s fault that Reid is a sniffly baby.
OW that got to hurt!
You should keep on watching him
I have a cold runny nose and cough it’s normal. Even though he’s little it happens to everyone
Babies (all of us really) pick up on the moods of the people they care about. If you are worried and anxious, Reid is going to sense that. If you are at ease and confident that Reid has a slight cold but he will get well with a little time and rest and liquids, Reid will sense that, too. You are a caregiver and that’s great! But the first rule for caregivers is that if they are going to take care of others, they have to take care of themselves. I hope you will take care of yourself.
That is excellent advice!
Good going, zeph317! Wonderful advice. I would definately come to you if I had a problem. (which I don’t)
Nice feelandlearning ! That was so funny but awesome ! When you put (which I don’t ) was so funny you just brightened up my day ! Good for you ! I hope I can be your webkinz friend by the way because you are really nice !
he’s OK. babies just go through that, and it is pretty immune building. :) but i do hope he get’s better. sick babies is not fun:(
I’m so so so sorry
Roberta, sweetie, I know it’s hard, but, you have to get some sleep or you’re get sick. As long as Reid isn’t running a temp there isn’t anything Dr. Quack can do that your mom isn’t. You might suggest putting vapor rub on the soles of his feet to help with the cough. jennifer
Roberta, I think your mom is a great mom. First rule of being a kid, never criticize your parents parenting skills. They know what’s best for you and reid. They always have and always will.
I agree with Mary you can get sick if you don’t sleep I stayed up all night with my BFF then in the morning I started feeling really sick :( but I’m all better :)
Oh no Roberta! I hope Reid does not get sick anymore! >>cathouse2
Poor Reid! Roberta, you might want to call the doctor and tell them his symptoms. In the mean time, give him some allergy medicine.
Roberta, everyone gets colds. I have one right now. My colds follow the same pattern. A few days of sniffles, and then coughing. There is no real treatment for a cold then to rest and wait. It’ll be gone within two weeks for sure!
Yeah don’t be so hard on your mother Roberta, your help you as a baby when you were sick, i’m sure he will be fine :) :) :) just give him something for the stuffy nose
roberta- tell reid i hope he feels better! i know i don’t like being sick! i think you should take reid to the doctor and let him rest. i just got a sick a few days ago and i did the same thing!
u all know this is fake, right?
