By Cowabelle Cowoline Wow! There was some major drama today at the Kinzville Academy. We all met at the school to start setting up for the Fall Fair. It was going pretty well. We got the tub all set up for Lucky Ducky and Stoogles was filling it up with water. I was mixing colors for the Face Paint. Roberta and Alex were measuring out the correct distance from the basket for the beanbag toss. Purr-cilla was laying out the hula hoops for the hula hoop game. Suddenly, Salley came running out of the school with Nibbles behind her. She ran straight over to Purr-cilla and shouted, “Where is it?” Purr-cilla looked as shocked as the rest of us. Which was kind of shocking in itself, because Purr-cilla always tries to act like she knows exactly what’s going on. She asked what Salley was looking for and Salley just screamed, “You know what I’m talking about? Where is it?” We all came running over and Roberta asked what had happened.               by Nibbles Hooray! I woke up this morning and turned on the TV and guess what? It looks like the rainstorm that was forecast for this weekend blew way north of Kinzville up to Northern Webkinz World! It’s going to miss us entirely. I got on the phone to Salley and she was thrilled! It looks like this Fall Fair is ON! So, with blue skies ahead now it’s time for clean up! Salley has organized us into teams (well, actually to be honest – it was Purr-cilla who organized all the volunteers and made sure every job was covered, but Salley doesn’t like to be reminded of that) and it’s been going really smoothly so far. I’m teamed up with Cowabelle and we’ve borrowed some rakes from the school custodian. We’ve already started clearing away the leaves from all the games areas, and we’ve got the spaces roped off where the rides are going to go. We’ll be setting up a table where the prizes will be kept, and Salley took the vase that Fluffington donated as the prize for the Cupcake Decorating Contest and hid it in a cupboard in the … Read more →

              By Purr-cilla Wow! You know that golden vase I mentioned the other day, and how we thought about raffling it off? Well, that is not going to fly apparently. Fluffington came nosing around today asking about the cupcake decorating contest and wondering whether there were any leftovers or rejects that needed disposing of, and saying that he would love to offer his opinion on any cupcake recipes if anyone wanted him to test theirs. Sheesh! Be a little more obvious, would you, Fluffy? He’s been going around asking everybody about their designs for their cupcakes. We’ve all been working really hard on our designs and nobody wants to show Fluffington before the big day, but man – is he persistent! He kept dropping hints about his favorite flavors (lemon cake and chocolate icing) and his favorite designs – he said whatever happened he hoped he didn’t see any teacup designs.                         Well, of course I am going to make the most awesome creature ever for my cupcake – a cat! What you need: – cupcake – white icing – marshmallows – coconut flakes – pink Smarties – chocolate chips   What you do: Ice your cupcake and cover it with coconut flakes. Cut a thin circle off each end of a marshmallow to make your cat’s cheeks. Set the circles side by side at the bottom half of the top of your cupcake and press a pink Smartie in between them at the top to form a nose. Cut another marshmallow in half lengthwise and then cut one half diagonally to form two ears and affix them to the top of your cat’s ‘face’. Add two chocolate chips for eyes and your cute kitty cupcake is ready!  

                School Council Minutes Taken by: Stoogles In Attendance: Salley, Purr-Cilla, Stoogles, Molly So today there was an emergency meeting of the School Council called about an issue regarding the fall fair. Molly showed up at school this morning all agitated and said she needed to talk to us. It turns out that Millie had seen one of our posters around Kinzville and got really excited about the fair. She couldn’t wait to find out from Molly about all the cool stuff that would be there. Problem was, when Molly told her, Millie said that some of the rides sounded kind of scary and that she wouldn’t win anything because she wouldn’t be any good at the games. So Molly asked us if we’d given any thought to what sort of entertainment we were planning for little kids. Purr-cilla piped up and said she knew all along this fair wasn’t being run properly and if she had been president she would have totally planned loads of fun activities for little kids. WHAT???
