Interview with Chef Sophia
 Today’s interview will be with Chef Sophia Soufflé, Webkinz World’s foremost dessert artisan! Ella McWoof: Chef Soufflé, thank you for joining us! Sophia Soufflé: Please, call me Sophia. EM: OK! Sophia, it’s commonly known that you had to work very hard to get to where you are today. Can you tell me a bit about that? SS: You’re right, Ella. I did have to work hard. I worked all through chef school. While other kids got to go home after a hard day at school, I went to the local restaurant and waited tables and did dishes. Over time, the head chef saw how passionate I was about food, and he let me start helping out in the kitchen. Pretty soon, I was a sous-chef, which is the chef who assists the head chef. EM: You must have been very proud to become the sous-chef at such a young age. SS: I was. I worked hard for it, and I was proud of myself. Not as proud as my parents were, I’m sure. Elwin’s Second Concert
Okay, Hailey. Thought I’d take a quick moment to drop you a line because right now I am FREAKING OUT! It’s my second concert and I’m waiting backstage right now. This is a much bigger venue than my first concert, and it’s completely sold out. There are so many fans out there – I don’t know if I can do this! I mean – remember how I forgot some of the words when I saw the crowd the other night? Well, how am I going to remember a single thing tonight? What was I thinking, Hailey? I’m just a simple designer from Kinzville who auditioned for a TV show on a lark. I didn’t sign on for this craziness! I am WAY out of my depth here! I better go. Here comes Dacey. Maybe she can give me some advice about stage fright. Oh, Hailey. Wish me luck. I’m really gonna need it!

Play Lily Padz 2: Down Pourz!
 Summer is usually filled with sunny, warm days and bright, clear skies…except when a storm is brewing! That’s one of the things you have to watch out for in Lily Padz 2: Down Pourz. In this game, you’re a frog who has to watch for bees, rising water, and rainstorms. You use the arrow keys and space bar to aim and jump. Keep jumping from mushrooms to lily pads to logs to rocks – but don’t stay stationary for too long, or you’ll sink (unless you’re on a rock – they don’t sink). The first time you make it to the end of the game, you’ll get a trophy! Time to play Lily Padz 2: Down Pourz now!

Everyone in Kinzville who enjoys traveling knows the subject of today’s interview. Debbie Dragon has been sending residents of Kinzville to exotic locales for years. Today we’re going to find out more about Debbie’s travels as well as her other passions. Debbie Dragon: Hi Ella! I just want to say that I am so honored that your readers wanted to hear more about me! EM: I think what we all really want to know is how your passion for travel began. DD: You know, I have always been an avid reader, ever since I was a kid. And some of my favorite stories are those that involve adventures in far off locations. As a young woman I was thrilled to read about some of Arte Fact’s exciting feats and that spurred me to travel myself. EM: Can you tell us about some of those early travels? Plumpy in the Big City
 Dear Nibbles, I’m having SUCH a great time on my honeymoon! Charles and I are in the Big City and we’ll be here for a couple of weeks – which is good, because there’s SO much to do! I know you guys came here for your end-of-the-year trip, so you got to experience some of the awesome things the city has to offer. Charles and I have been to amazing restaurants and we’ve seen a couple of really wonderful shows. I wish you had been with me when we saw the musical – it was so funny and exciting!  We’re going to try and visit ALL the museums and galleries…and as many restaurants as we can. Charles is giving a lecture at the university, so I’ll have a day to myself. I was thinking maybe you could take the bus to the city and meet me here? Maybe we could hang out? I’ll call mom later and ask if she’ll let you come visit me! I do miss you a ton, Nibbles!  Hope all is well in Kinzville!  Love, Plumpy
